Monte Carlo, Monaco

We (Tony, Happy, Pepper, Lewis, and I) were just arriving at the Grand Prix. After I won yet another bet against Tony, he offered me tickets to come and because I owed it to Lewis, I brought him with us.

Happy, Tony and Pepper were in a car in front of us, while Lewis and I drove behind them in my car. Lewis had some judgment towards Tony and I didn't want to risk being in the middle of that.

I looked down at my mini-skirt, brushing the lint off it before turning to Lewis who was in the driver's seat.

"You excited?" I asked him, hoping he would ignore the fact that Tony was here and be more thrilled he was spending time with me.

Keeping his eyes on the road he responded, "Yeah, although I'm more of a basketball kinda guy."

Of course, he was going to be salty about the situation. I knew he felt like we were here because of Tony and not because it was my idea. However, that was no reason to be bitter. I could have easily left him behind.

"Well we don't have tickets to a Lakers game," I started but I couldn't suppress the frustration in my voice, "And we're in Monaco. Europe! At least enjoy the fact that we're in another country!"

He just nodded in response as I carried on driving. We've been in Monaco for no more than an hour and Lewis is already giving me a hard time. I suspected it was because of the flight over here; Tony and I were way too drunk to make Lewis feel more included.

"We are having lunch together, first, before the race," I informed him, hoping to put him in a better mood, "So maybe we can spend some alone time together."

I put emphasis on the 'alone' hoping it would cheer him up a little bit. I noticed the corner of his lip raised into a smirk, but he stopped, hoping I didn't detect it.

We soon arrived at Hotel de Paris where we parked up behind the black Rolls Royce Phantom as we watched Tony, Happy and Pepper step out. I spotted a red briefcase that Happy had in hand. The Iron Man suit, huh? Tony waved the crowds of people that cheered him on, before heading into the hotel. I quickly followed to catch up, Lewis tailing behind me.

"Hey, Tony!" I greeted Tony before turning to Pepper, "Hey, CEO-of-Stark-Industries."

Pepper blushed slightly before replying, "Just Pepper is okay."

I giggled rubbing her shoulder we as walked through the lobby of the hotel and into the restaurant.

"You know, it's Europe. Whatever happens the next twenty minutes, just go with it." Tony mentions quickly.

"Go with it? Go with what?" Pepper asks in confusion, but also in fear of Tony's unpredictability.

We entered a crowded restaurant with a lot of faces, ones I thought I should recognize but wasn't sure. Lewis came up next to me squeezing my hand as we came to a halt. I looked up at him and he gave me a lipless smile. I got the sense he was uncomfortable with this whole situation and wanted to leave.

"We are literally just getting a table and then watching the race," I whispered trying to comfort him, but his agitation was getting on my nerves.

I looked ahead and saw Natalie the notary greeting Tony, "Mr. Stark."

I was surprised to see her here, but at the same time, I wasn't, "Ah, so Natalie, you're Tony's new assistant?"

She smiled at Tony before answering me, "He offered me a job. I couldn't say no."

I laughed and turned to Lewis who I noticed was checking out the assistant. He kept his eyes fixed on the way Natalie's pink coral dress hugged her figure. Although I wasn't jealous it did irritate me. I didn't bring him to Europe to be checking out other girls.
