.:Hali POV:.

George and Dream slept peacefully.. while- the little mer was filled with energy.

George held onto dreams arm, snuggling into him.
"Mmm..." he yawned softly.

Dream laid on his back, his head tilted up at the stairs- sleeping soft and soundly.

Hali slid out from the two, swimming around in the water- giggling.
"Awake!" He gasped, hoping Dream or George was awake.

He looked over at his two parents, they were both sound asleep... but he wanted to play and have fun.

Hali glanced over a rock and saw an individual standing in the water.. maybe he will play with him!!

"Play!" Hali gasped, swimming off.

.: Punz POV :.

Punz huffed, staring at the open ocean....
"What a fucking joke." He scoffed, crossing his arms.
"I'm a pirate... not a fucking daycare."

They should be sailing the seas and getting loot and treasure.. not- sitting cooped up on a small island because the captain wanted to Fuck a merman and adopt five fucking kids.

As he was about to go looking in the water- he heard squeaking beneath him.

"What the.." Punz looked down, seeing hali doggy paddle up to him.
"Oh.. it's one of you things.." he looked disgusted.

Hali happily smiled, swimming up to Punz.

"Go away you thing." Punz tried brushing his foot at hali, trying to get the thing away..

But hali rolled onto his back and holding his arms out.
"Play!" Hali laid in the shallow water, his tail batting back and forth.

Punz stared down at the small creature, unimpressed.
"Err.." he scrunched his nose.
"No thanks."

Hali giggled, trying to act cute for Punz to play with him... but before he could ask to play again-
"Pl-"

Punz scoffed before he purposely stepped on his fin, staring down at hali as he did so.

Hali let out a cry, trying to swim away- but couldn't.
"OW- HURT-" he tugged his tail.

"I don't give a shit what you are.. you don't come near me... got it?" Punz twisted his foot, crouching down.
"Your just some pest that will never leave." He snapped quietly.
"I'm not going to play with you."

Hali clawed Punz boot, trying to get away from the pain.
"Hurt! Hurt!" He cried, trying to tug his tail away.
"Stop- stop-"

"You stay the fuck away from me." Punz pushed his foot down, cupping Hali's cheeks with his thumb and pointer finger.
"Or I will crush you next time." He squeezed his small jaw.

Hali just cried.

Punz removed his foot, lightly kicking hali into the water.
"Now get the fuck away from me." He spat.

Hali quickly swam away back to Dream and George crying.
"Mama- daddy-"

Hali cried, painfully paddling back with an ache in his tail.

He quickly swam to the two, crawling under dreams poet shirt and hiding.

"Mama! Daddy!" Hali cried, snuggling into dreams chest- hiding from Punz.
"Scared..."
