"The press has been hounding the police on who the suspects are," Jimin continues on, talking towards Yoongi and Namjoon who have been listening to him attentively. "But I'm paying a lot of money to keep the press from spilling y/n's name on the news."
I remain silent in my chair, gloomy and drained, tired of all this stress after stress. We all can't even mourn the death of Junsu abeonim properly as we all been dealing with this commotion. It's late in the evening and we all didn't get any rest as of yet.
Jimin sighs harshly as he sits back on his office chair. I glance towards him, feeling bad, seeing the dark circles in his eyes. He hasn't slept at all last night. I know he was in his office trying to bring my name out of this situation from the public.
"Well um there's no murder weapon as of yet and no confessions been made," Namjoon suddenly says. "No witnesses either.
"Don Jimin," the walkie-talkie buzzes in-front of Jimin.
Jimin brings the walkie-talkie near his mouth. "Yes, Eunwoo."
"Ms. Song Aera is making a commotion at the front gates and demands to see Ms. Kim y/n. Should I shoot her?"
Jimin was about to speak until I cut in, "No!" Panic grows inside me. "I'll uh...I'm going to speak to her."
"Are you dumb y/n?" Yoongi leers. I plead with my tired eyes towards Jimin.
"No," Jimin answers in his walkie talkie. "Y/n will come out to talk to her but make sure each and every one of you are on guard. If y/n gets hurt in anyway, you're all dead. Along with your families. Got it?"

I make my way towards the front gates and Aera's eyes lits up in happiness to see me walking towards her as she stands outside the gates. Jimin is trailing behind but keeping a distance since I wanted to speak to her alone after finding out that she's legitimately my half-sister.
The guards outside with her has their guns out towards her and one guard opens the gate for me.
Immediately, Aera bows on the ground. "Y/n, I just want to ask for your forgiveness once again. I'm sorry!"
"Save your apologies," I say out of anger and stress, even though deep down I feel a sudden guilt. "You think I'll fucking believe you?"
"Please y/n," she finally stands up, with pitiful eyes. "I'm sorry for all that I've done to you! If I knew you were my sister then, I would never have done it." She suddenly sobs, taking me back by suprise and shock. "I'm so sorry!"
"Sorry?" I scoff, but internally I feel a sudden remorse. "Or you just don't want to go to jail?"
"No y/n..." she sniffles with her eyes wet with tears. "I'm turning myself in tonight to confess to the police of all the things I've done," she glances down for a moment. "And to also get Hyori to pay for all the shit she had done. I will confess for all her crimes so that her and I both go to jail. I'm so sorry...your my sister and I'm willing to do anything for you despite my love for Jungkook. That's why I'm here right now because after this I'm turning myself in and I just want to have closure towards my younger sister, just in case I never get to see you again..."
I glance at her with wide eyes, feeling astounded and then again feeling that guilt in my heart again that I never thought I would ever have towards her. I finally open my mouth to speak but no words comes out.
What am I suppose to say? I feel so much anger towards her and she did me so badly but why do I feel a sort of pity over her?
"Aera," Jimin steps in out of no where, as he stands beside me.
Aera was about to greet him until Jimin smacks him with all his strength that she falls harshly onto the cement floor. My heart sinks for some reason as I watch her on the ground looking so pitiful. But she soon gets up miserably to face us again.
"Y/n may have a heart, but I don't." He glowers over her with no sense of remorse. "You may be y/n's sister but I don't give a fuck after all the shit you've done to her. Maybe I should drag you to my basement and torture you as well."
Jimin raises his hand to slap her once again and she flinches shutting her eyes but I grab onto his arm. "Jimin, that's enough!"
"Babe, no!" Jimin scolds me, breathing harshly. "I've been looking forward to this day. You said you were going to give her what she deserved and I've let you handle it without me interfering. But she came to my property and now I will take matters into my own hands."
Suddenly a black Lamborghini abruptly pulls up right in-front of us, knowing well who it belongs to.
"Y/n get inside!" Jimin orders me, staring vigilantly towards Jungkook's car. But I stay put as I watch Jungkook come out of, aggressively slamming his car door shut.
"Y/n, how could you!" Jungkook shouts with anger in his voice, walking towards me. "How could you kill my father?"
Jimin and all guards points their gun towards him, feeling my adrenaline kicking in, worried for Jungkook's sake.
"Jungkook I—"
"I know you fucking did it!" He cuts me off with full resentment and anger in his voice and face. "With all these evidences, there's no fucking way it's not you! You're just trying to get back at me. You deserve to go to jail!"
I'm shook to see Jungkook with this much frustration and anger in him that I haven't seen in a very long time. I gulp and try to calm before I utter, "Jungkook I didn't do it, believe me."
"Believe you?" He scoffs taking one step forward, "You told me you love me but you lied. Then went off with this fucking bastard. You think I'll ever believe you again!"
"Jungkook, I will fucking shoot you if take one more step closer towards y/n!" Jimin shouts keeping his full attention on him. I could feel my anxiety running high, wanting badly for the situation to calm, knowing Jungkook's fate if he continues with this uncontrollable rage.
Jungkook ignores Jimin, keeping his burning glare onto me until he finally takes notice of Aera and his eyes went wide. "What the fuck are you doing here? I told you I never want to see your face again after giving you a chance to fucking live but it seems like you want to fucking die in my hands!"
"Jungkook...I'm here to apologize to y/n." Aera says timidly, trying to keep her tears in. "I care for y/n and I love you so much Jungkook so I'm willing to beg for her forgiveness and even turn myself in for what I've done to her. And Jungkook...you know y/n is not the type of person to do this to your father."
Jungkook glares at her with burning rage. "Shut the fuck up, you fucking bitch! Stop acting like you're the hero now. You're forever be nothing but a cheap ass whore!"
There's tears in Aera's as but she blinks it away. I could tell it hurt her deeply then my heart beats erratically to see Jungkook approaching her with a sinister look in his eyes.
Next thing I know, my body moves towards him and grabs his arm before he could hurt Aera. I don't know why I'm doing this, but it's just one of those things where your body just impulsively move and I guess I wanted to help Aera.
Soon a feeling of dread creeps up at the pit of my stomach realizing I had stopped Jungkook as he turns his gaze towards me, only to meet his icy eyes.
"Kim y/n," he slyly grins, aggressively pushing my arm away from him. But I feel a sense of relief that he took his attention off from hurting Aera. "I've always knew that one of these days you will do something against me. But I never would have thought you would be brave enough and go to this level of revenge and kill my own father. You're nothing but a piece of trash that I should have just left on the ground instead of bringing into my mansion."
My heart sinks to my stomach, trying to keep my tears in as I put on a brave face.
"Thank goodness you picked Jimin," he scoffs with a vile expression. "I wouldn't want to be with someone like you. You're nothing but a snake in the grass who appears to be all innocent and harmless but in-fact is a treacherous fucking bitc—"
I impulsively slap him out of hurt and anger but I watch him turn to look at me with a cynically expression and immediately I knew, I shouldn't have done that.
His eyes are deep and dark towards me as if he wants to kill me at this very moment.
But before I can continue he takes one step closer towards me and I hear Aera scream,"No!" and a loud gun shot goes off.
My heart stops and my eyes widens to see both Jungkook and Aera fall to the ground.
"Who the fuck shot that?" Jimin turns around in full anger trying to figure out which guard pulled the trigger.
I stand in a frozen state, having a hard time comprehending what just occurred until I see blood on the ground.
I instantly rush towards them on the ground and realize...Aera took the bullet that was intended for Jungkook.
"Aera why?" Jungkook looks at Aera with shock eyes, holding onto her frail body and pressing tightly onto her gunshot wound on her shoulder.
"I told you Jungkook, I...love you," Aera says weakly as she starts to lose consciousness until she shifts her shutting eyes up towards me. "Y/n...I'm sorry...I really am."

I'm waiting impatiently outside the room of Aera in the hospital with Jimin beside me. After the whole incident, Jungkook had rush Aera to the hospital. I convinced Jimin that we follow along, since I was worried for her condition when she fell unconscious in Jungkook's arms.
I glance towards Jimin who looks like he could care less about being here and much rather be at home to deal with the guard that decided to pull the trigger.
"Why would she take a bullet for him?" I break the silence between us.
Jimin sighs. "I guess she...really loves him."
My heart churns hearing those words for some reason.
"But baby," he holds onto my hand, "I know you don't want to hear this but I still could care less about Aera. The only thing from keeping her alive right now is the fact that I know you have this sudden care for her ever since you found out about her being your sister."
He's right. I'm finally admitting. I do have the sense of care for her, now that it's confirm that she's my sister. Especially now that she took a bullet for Jungkook.
The doctor finally comes out and I immediately get up in eagerness. "Ms. Kim, you may now go in." He bows towards us and walks away.
I look towards Jimin. "I just want to speak to her alone."
"But y/n," he says stressfully, "Jungkook is in there."
"Please?"
"Alright fine," he gives in. "But scream if he does anything."
I walk towards the door and take a deep breath, preparing myself to what I'm about to see. I walk inside the spacious private hospital room to see Aera awake with tubes on her nostrils and her shoulder bandaged up. I suddenly stop in my tracks, seeing Jungkook sitting by her bedside holding onto her arm.
Aera takes notice of me and she weakly smiles as if she's happy to see me. Jungkook turns around but I couldn't see his eyes, as he's now wearing a black bucket hat which tells me he probably cried since he wants to hide his face. But at-least he seems calm this time unlike an hour ago when he was in full rage.
I glance from his hand still holding onto her hand and a sudden tug pulls onto my heartstrings but I quickly look back up to Aera.
"Aera...uh," I try to force a smile. "I'm glad you're okay."
"Jungkook, I want to speak with y/n, alone," she says weakly.
I hear him stressfully sigh as if he wanted to stay in this room with her. I suddenly get nervous as he finally gets up and walks past me.
"Y/n," Jungkook whispers with a threatening tone as he abruptly stop by me, shoulder to shoulder. I shift my head towards him but his eyes are covered by his black bucket hat. "I thought I wanted your forgiveness. But I guess you're paying me back once again by having my father killed. I'm remaining calm now because Aera pleaded with me."
He pauses for a moment, then leans even closer towards me. "And I thought I loved you. But just like what you said to me back in the lake...I didn't mean anything I said."
He brushes past me and walks out the door, knowing he'll be seeing Jimin out there so I'm prepared to here a loud commotion happening out there any second.
"Y/n, I'm sorry," Aera says, bringing my attention back to her.
I brush off my emotions from Jungkook's words and glare and walk towards Aera. I examine her condition, feeling so much sympathy. "I...why did you take the bullet for him?"
"I...I love him, y/n," she looks at me with eyes filling up in tears. "Yes, I was blinded by love to the point I've hurt you and him. But this time I want to prove my love for him without hurting anyone. I truly care for him and I care for you too."
I fall silent, feeling so much emotions igniting inside of me. But she suddenly grabs onto my hand.
"Y/n...I know you're going through a tough time and so is Jungkook. I'm sorry that he's acting like this. But I truly believe that it wasn't you. I think he just wants somebody to blame and it's sad that he's putting out on you. But please y/n, don't let Jimin do anything to him. I love him a lot, and I don't want anything happening to him."

"Baby..." Jimin walks out the balcony of our shared room and wraps his arms around me. "Are you okay?"
I sniffle and blink my tears away, making sure he doesn't know I was just crying my eyes out over my conversation with Aera hours ago in the hospital.
After all these years of me thinking Aera was just a psychopath who's obsessed with Jungkook but in reality...she truly does love him and it's not just because she took a bullet for him but how she spoke about him to me.
"Don't cry baby," Jimin places soft kisses onto my bare shoulders. "I know these past days has been nothing but a roller coaster. But I'm here by your side, always."
I turn myself around to face him, feeling so grateful for him. I glance up in his tired eyes and immediately I feel safe and comfort. I couldn't help but smile. All he's been doing is making sure that I don't look bad and working hard to get my nam out of this situation. He's been by my side giving me such comfort and care through this stressful time.
"Jimin," I cup his face. "Thank you and...I love you."
He smiles and leans in to brush his soft plump lips onto mine and about to deepen in until his phone starts buzzing.
"Ugh," he groans. "Who the fuck is calling me now when I'm about to finally have my time with you."
I couldn't help but laugh, it's been a while where we finally seem relax. He miserably pulls out his phone and he looks shock.
I glance at the screen and realize it's my attorney. Jimin quickly answers putting it on speaker. "Hello, Mr. Choo."
"Good news, Mr. Park," my attorney says earnestly. "Please let Ms. Kim know that the case has been dropped against her being the suspect. They simply cannot connect the evidence found towards her. And adding the alibis who testify of witnessing her of being at home was a strong counterattack against the accusations. The case is now closed and she won't be put on trial."
