With the information Scarlett provided Cayden and Valerie were able to destroy many of the boot camps of hunters. Whatever they planned the two alphas were ahead of them. The werewolves of the state of Alaska decided to make a werewolf community for the decisions and planning of the upcoming war with the hunters. They made Valerie and Cayden head of that committee. All the decisions were taken after their approval.
Autumn helped the packs by putting on the protective spells around the packs of the Alaskan state. The vampire duo were keeping a check on new saplings. They were making sure that hunters were not able to brain wash them and recruit them for the purpose of their war.
Kevin was keeping an account of all the information gathered by the werewolves working in the politics. How hunters were influencing the political decisions and how to tackle those that were against supernaturals.
Dominic was training warriors of both packs for the impending war. He was training them harshly and hardly. Jason was keeping the track of the information provided by the trackers of both the packs. Ryder on the other hand was solely focused on Scarlet and her intels. He was making sure she was safe and well taken care of with the approval of Cayden.
Charles's laboratory was finally finalized and he was close to finding the antidote to the vampire venom which was considered a major breakthrough. The results in the lab were looking promising and now he was trying his best to test those results on real werewolves.
Randall was not happy these days. He was facing the bitter taste of defeat. He easily conquered Canada and almost wiped out the werewolf race there. Those who were alive were either hiding or they eloped. He managed to defeat them easily. But it looked like Alaska came as his doom. His every tactic, every move was failing. He tried his level best to kill Valerie but failed. He asked his best hunters to search for her family but was in vain. All the sweet taste of win that he had by conquering Canada went down in drain when he tried to claim the territories of Alaska. Initially he managed to defeat few small packs but after that every other pack came under the protection of Valerie and her pack.
He was sauntering in his living room when as per routine Azazel came with the youth potion and handed it to him.
"I see you are still sour with all the defeat you are facing."
He decided to ignore her and gulped the potion in one go.
"I am telling you, that girl Scarlett is not who she says she is. Don't trust her. Mark my words she is helping them. She is your traitor."
"My best spies were not able to find anything suspicious. She never went anywhere suspicious nor did she do anything leery. How can I be skeptical of her?" He replied running a frustrated hand in his hair. He sat on the couch defeated. "I want Valerie dead. She can't be more powerful than her grand father."
There was a knock on the door followed by the entrance of a man. He came inside and stood before him and bowed down in front of him and spoke.
"Boss we have information regarding Mystic moon."
"Don't you have anything regarding Stalwart?" Randall asked in frustration.
"It is important." The man replied. Randall nodded
"We were told that the alpha of the Mystic Moon is weak but our spies have found out something different. They have learned that he is very powerful and strong and we were told that Valerie has not accepted him as her mate but that is also false. They both are mates and are considered power couple of the werewolf community."
Randall scrutinized his eyes and asked. "And who was the source of this false information?"
"Scarlett, boss." The man replied.
"I told you, she can't be trusted." Azazel replied.
"I want to meet her now." Randall snarled.

There was sudden rustling in the camp. Scarlett was lying in her bunker when she felt a sudden drift in air. She got up to clarify. From her surroundings she came to know that Randall was coming to visit the camp. Whispering of two females got her attention when she heard her name.
"Scarlett! Are you sure, that was the name you heard." The first female asked.
"Yes, apparently she has lied about her alpha being weak. I think she is the traitor and she will be punished. Randall is coming himself to interview her." the second female replied.
Scarlett gasped, she was caught. If anybody found her now, she will be taken prisoner or worse would be murdered. So she decided to run. She tiptoed back to her bunker collected her few essential things and jumped out of the window and ran as fast as she could. She reached the clearing where the burner phones were hidden. She dig one out and immediately called one of the trackers and informed him about the situation, who in turn without wasting any time delivered the news to Cayden.
Upon learning such atrocious thing Cayden's heart starting beating frantically. He was worried about his friend's security and wellness. He knew if anyone could help him now, it was Autumn so leaving everything behind he sprinted towards the Stalwart warrior pack.
When he reached there, he found Jason talking with Kevin outside the pack house. "Where is Valerie?" he asked frantically.
"She is in the gym sparing with Dominic." Kevin replied. "What got you so riled up?"
"It is Scarlett, she is in danger and I want help from Autumn and Valerie." He replied.
"What do you mean?" He asked
"I don't have time to explain. Just find Autumn and bring her to the gym." Kevin nodded and left to fetch her.
When he entered gym he yelled Valerie's name. Both Dominic and Valerie immediately stopped whatever they were doing and looked towards Cayden.
In the meanwhile Kevin brought Autumn in the gym followed by Jason. Cayden did not give anyone a chance to ask and started rambling about Scarlett and how she in danger.
"Wait! Wait! Wait! You are telling us that Randall know about everything." Autumn asked surprised.
"Everything." Cayden replied in defeat. "We must help her. We should help her. Autumn you can cast some spell or brew her some potion. But please help her."
Valerie who was watching Cayden very intently got irritated with the way he was showing so much care for Scarlett and out of jealousy she spoke. "How can we help you in this?"
Cayden looked shocked towards her and saw a fuming Valerie. He was surprised when he noticed that Valerie was jealous as her expressions were readable and crystal clear. He wanted to smile but the situation was not right.
Autumn was left aghast. "How can you ask such thing from Cayden? She was helping us too. She put her life in danger for us."
"Not for us but for her alpha. She was loyal to her alpha as he is loyal to her. We just reaped the fruit of mutual benefit." Valerie replied.
Kevin who was standing silent until now said "If I didn't know you better I would say you are jealous, sister. But I know you well. It is not the time to debate on who did what. We must help that poor girl as soon as possible."
Valerie rolled her eyes and replied. "Autumn you can help her as much as you want." She picked up her water bottle lying on the table and left.

Autumn immediately set to work. She brewed a potion that was antidote to the potion which forces one to speak the truth. She asked Cayden to bring anything that was quite personal to her and was close to her heart. A thing or monument, that she loved dearly.
Cayden immediately remembered the necklace that he had gifted her on her eighteenth birthday. It was a chain with crescent moon which she always used to wear and never did she remove it from her neck. But when he imprisoned her, he asked her to untie it and the hurt that he saw in her eyes was unbearable for him. But she did try to hurt his mate and that was unacceptable.
Cayden immediately called Ryder and asked him to bring it in. Few minutes later Ryder arrived at Stalwart warrior pack carrying that necklace. Autumn took it and chanted some spells. It glowed for a few minutes and then it came back to normal.
"Ask Scarlett to wear this necklace and drink this potion. It will protect her from magic and the potion is antidote to the truth serum which my mother will definitely use."
Ryder nodded and went back to give that necklace and potion to the tracker. He took that necklace to place where Scarlett was hiding and he asked her to wear it and drink the potion.
Scarlett took the necklace and a smile crept on her face. Cayden gave her the necklace back and that too with protection spells. Without wasting any more minutes she drank the potion and wore that necklace and decided to go back near the camp.
When she saw Randall's spies she pretended to walk leisurely and act like she was taking a stroll in the beautiful weather.
"There she is." One of the spies yelled.
Scarlett pretended to look surprised. "What happened?" She asked the spy.
"Boss is waiting for you in the camp. He wants to meet you now. Where were you, by the way? We searched this place before but you were not here."
Scarlett smiled. "Then perhaps you should sharpen you spy skills some more. Now come on let us go. We should not make Randall wait."

When they reached camp Scarlett found a fuming Randall pacing impatiently.
"Where were you?" He snarled
"I was out taking a stroll." Scarlett replied nonchalantly.
Randall pursed his lips and looked towards her disapprovingly. "You are a traitor?"
"How can you say so?" Scarlett asked unfazed.
"You told us that Cayden is a weak and petty alpha but my spies have something different to tell me. Why did you lie to me?"
"To protect him." She replied confidently. "I knew if I told you the truth you would have attacked him or worse killed him."
"Why would you do that?" Randall asked her.
"Because I love him."
"Why did you lie about them being not mates?"
"Because for me they aren't. She took something that was dear to me. That was supposed to be mine. When you will kill her, I will be there for Cayden as shoulder to cry on and love him."
Randall looked towards her in scrutiny and somewhere he saw himself in her. Fighting for their love. Their right snatched by someone else. "So if I use this truth potion on you, I will get the same answers."
"Yes." She replied. He smiled and then he looked back towards someone and spoke. "I told you she is here for revenge."
Azazel who was not visible till now to Scarlett came forward. "Don't jump to conclusions so fast my love."
She looked towards Scarlett's neck and snarled. "I can smell the purity of the magic done by my daughter. She has become powerful but she is still virgin. Her magic is still pure. The necklace she is wearing is protecting her." Scarlett gasped.
Randall looked towards her neck with hatred and Azazel continued. "She is informing everything to those werewolves. She is responsible for every loss we bore in the past two months. She has drunk the antidote to the potion and the truth serum will not affect her. I am impressed, my daughter knows me well. But she does not know I have the power of dark, black magic. The purity of her magic won't save this girl."
She enchanted a spell and the necklace burned around Scarlett's neck leaving an angry mark on her neck and then it broke in two.
"And now I will kill her for you my love."
"Wait" Randall yelled. "I want to send them a message. Don't kill her. I have plans for her." He smiled viciously.
