J: Earth to Sam!
Hello?!
You aren't going to make us stand here the entire night, right?
S: No, you can leave now.
Mon and I need some privacy
J: Seriously?! You're so heartless!
You're just going to throw us away after coming all the way here and preparing these for you?!
S: What exactly did you do?
J: Hmph! We helped Mon, of course!
We finalized the venue while she was freaking out.
She was scared you would say no and was almost hyperventilating
(Sam took my hands and held my cheek.
She then looked deep into my eyes and held me hostage)
S:Did you really think I would say no, Mon?
(Caught off guard by the question, I froze.
Seeing that I didn't answer, Sam then moved her hand softly and caressed my cheek whilst continuing to look into my eyes)
S: Did you really think I was capable of saying no to you, Mon?
M: I... i hoped you would say yes
S: But you thought that i might say no
M: it's just... it's not the right time
I haven't reached anything yet
I'm still studying for my doctorate
I'm still not good enough for you, Sam
(Sam raised my hands and placed it on her cheeks
She then slowly kissed me and hugged me)
S: Mon, you have always been enough
You were always more than enough Mon
You don't need a doctorate to tell you that
M: I know you always say that, but Sam...
S: Mon, look at me
I'm just your ChamCham, Mon
I don't care how the world sees me. That's not me
I'm just your ChamCham, and for me, my MonMon is more than good enough
You are everything and more Mon
Nothing else matters...
Not my title,
not my degree,
not my money
nor my face
Not all of my accomplishments and success
None of those mattered more to me than your love for me Mon
From the start, you were looking at things differently
While you were out chasing for a degree that you didn't need...
I was out chasing you and your present with me Mon
I just wanted to be with you
I know, I know being with me is not easy
It would never be easy
You would get judged a lot and there may be times when it would slip through your insecurities...
But Mon, the Sam that the world sees is not the Sam I want to be
I just want to be happy Mon and you are my happiness
Please don't think for a single minute that I deserve someone better
You're IT Mon.
You're my forever.
Do you understand?
(Mon was crying uncontrollably. She was incredibly touched by what Sam said.
She knew that no matter what she just couldn't turn away from this woman.
She was her world. Her everything.
What she said validated her existence
She was damn right! She was insecure!
She was insecure
When she looked at their house, she could feel the massive gap between her and Sam
When she sees her accomplishments, she felt so small
She felt embarrassed staying by her side
She always knew she was not good enough!
But if Sam is happy to have me just the way I am
If she tells me I am good enough, then I am good enough
I will never again let anybody make me feel like I am not good enough!
My insecurities will not disappear in a day and it won't disappear just because I want it too but I vow to work on it starting today. For myself and for my Sam.

And even if you aren't up to Sam's level yet, she loves you and that's all that matters!)
(Sam seeing the understanding in my eyes, began to smile
She kissed me lightly and asked again)
S:Do you understand, Mon?
M: I understand
(Sam kissed me again and I cried in her arms)
J: Hey lovebirds, haven't you had enough yet?
You have been force feeding us dogfood for the past...I don't know, hour
We're really hungry you know
S: Are we obligated to feed you?
(Jim clinged into me and pouted
This made Sam growl
Seeing this, Tee immediately smacked Jim and pulled her away)
J: Why? Why did u hit me?!
What did I do?
Sam was the rude one!
Why am I the one getting hit?!
T: Because you are an idiot
J: All you know is how to bully me!
K: Okay! Okay
Enough you guys
Today is a happy day
Can't we all just have fun today?
Y: Right! Congrats, bestie!
You still owe us a tour, by the way, and can I see the ring now?!
I have been dying to see it for a month now!
J: Right! The ring!
(Jim immediately dragged Sam and held her wrist to show everybody the ring.
This upset Sam because she was separated from Mon, so she quickly pulled back her hand and went back to Mon
Seeing this, the gang didn't allow her to escape so soon
They dragged her to the middle again and slowly inspected the ring)
Y: Wow, Mon! This looks even more amazing up close!
I really can't believe that you designed this Mon!
J: Wait! You were serious when you said you designed this, Mon?!
M: uhm, yeah. I... I got a lot of help
K: it looks amazing, Mon!
You must be really happy, Sam!
Mon had given everything so much thought and effort
S: As long as I have Mon, I am happy
I didn't need these
(Hearing this, Mon got upset
She put so much effort into this
So much planning was involved, and Sam would just say she didn't need it?!
It sounded like she didn't appreciate what I had done
Everybody must have seen my mood drop
Kade pinched Sam to give her a hint)
S: oww! What was that for?
(Kade then tried to use her lips to signal my sudden mood swing, but Sam just couldn't understand her hints
Kade sighed and took a deep breath)
K: You're hopeless, Sam
S: Where did that come from?
N: You don't know how much Mon has worked hard for this proposal, Sam, and you just waved off all her effort by saying you didn't need all of these to be happy
I know what you meant, but you seriously need to work on your mouth
(Hearing this, Sam was baffled
Her eyes widened, and she noticeably panicked
She looked at me and hurriedly came to my side)
S: Mon, I didn't mean it that way
I appreciate all of the things you have done Mon
I haven't felt more special that I do now
What I meant was that, even if you just asked me randomly while eating, watching TV, or while cuddling
Mon I would have been ecstatic nevertheless
My answer would have still been a yes and I would have still been over the moon!
N: Only idiots like you would make a mistake like that!
Mon told us how you proposed to her and Sam, I couldn't be more disappointed in you!
How could u propose to Mon so perfuctorily?!
And How could you wait for Mon to propose?!
Shouldn't it have been your job?
Tsk! You really are hopeless
(Sam mumbled in barely a whisper
Nobody caught what she was trying to say)
S: I wanted to propose
She didn't wait for me
J: Now you're mumbling
Are you too embarrassed to say anything now?
(Sam just rolled her eyes and pouted
Ahhhh, my cute baby!
Mon just came over and hugged her
Finding Sam so adorable!)
M: it doesn't matter who proposes
What's important is that we're getting married
Y: wohoooo!
I'm so excited!!!
When's the wedding, Mon?
Would it be held here or back home?
M: uhm, we haven't talked about it yet
We're not in a hurry
S: Who said we aren't?
M: uhm... I planned to have our wedding after I finished my doctorate
J: whaaat????
That's like 3 years , 4 years away, Mon!
M: uhm, 3 years tops
I'm graduating for my masters next month, and I'll apply for my doctorate next, so it won't be that far in the future, really
S: Mon, what's the point of proposing to me now if you plan to make me wait another 3 years before I could marry you?
M: I just... I wanted you to know that I was prepared to marry you, Sam
I uhm wanted to let you know that you're the only one for me and wanted to assure you that I see a future in us, so I proposed
S: Why can't we get married earlier?
Didn't I just tell you that you don't need a doctorate?
M: But wasn't that the goal we have both set for me, Sam?
S: I never set a goal for you, Mon!
You asked me what the best version of you I could imagine
And I just said it randomly!
It doesn't mean you have to strictly follow it!
I don't expect you to live up to anyone's standards!
M: But I had made up my mind that I want to reach your standards, Sam!
You said that was my best version, and I want to be the best version I could be for you
S: You are twisting my words, Mon!
Ugh! This is so frustrating!
I thought I could finally marry you!
M: And you will
Just give me more time, please
S: Mon, I am not getting any younger
I want to start a family with you
Why are u so obsessed with that damn doctorate! It's not worth it
M: You're only saying it's not worth it because u have achieved it so easily, Sam!
I thought u would support me!
K: Oh hey! Aren't we celebrating today?
Why did it turn into an argument?
(Mon took a deep breath and decided not to ruin the night
She clung to Sam's arms and hugged her tight)
M: Love, let's not argue tonight, please
Let's talk about our marriage plans another day
When we u know, we have fewer things to celebrate and have more privacy
S: hmph fine!
