Sam had a sleepless night that day
She hugged Mon tightly in her arms and kissed her head over and over possessively
Her mind was constantly trying to piece the puzzle but is coming up blank
Just what is Mon and Raymond hiding from me?
I trust them!
I trust them both!
I know they wouldn't betray me!
They wouldn't, right?
No! Definitely not!
Based on their conversation, it was obvious that they were not cheating on me!
Mon said she loved me, and I believe she meant it!
Ugh, I can't believe I ever doubted her!
But... just what are they planning?
Mon said I shouldn't find out
She also said it wasn't convenient for her to do personally because she knows she is being trailed
Those idiots!!! I told them to make sure Mon doesn't see them! Ugh!!! This is so frustrating!!!
Just why can't I find out?!
She was excited about it too, hmmm...
While Sam was deep in thought, Mon woke up energetically and faced her before hugging her again
M: Good morning, love!
How was your sleep?
S: uhmm, great, Mon. How was yours?
M: Really love? Is that why u look like a panda now?
(Sam, who knew she was caught red-handed, held her nape, and smiled awkwardly)
M: Come on, love. Tell me
What's bothering you?
(Sam was still contemplating whether to say it or not
She wanted to respect Mon, but then again, eavesdropping on their conversation last night was already countering the whole, I respect you thing
That was just messed up! So messed up, Sam! Ugh!
But do I regret it? Ugh! I don't know either!
I want to confront Mon about all the sneaky hiding and cheating, but I know if I would, it may just start another argument
So now I don't know what to do!
I want to figure it out!
Being in the dark is causing me paranoia, and that's not good!
I don't want to stop trusting Mon!
Never!
So I better ask, right?
Sam has almost reached her breaking point and, with a heavy heart, made a decision
Sam closed her eyes, breathed deeply, and held Mon's hand
With her most sincere emotions, she said)
S: Mon. I promise to always believe in you
I promise to always trust you
I promise to always listen to your explanation first. Mon
So please tell me
What is it that you're hiding from me?
Everything Mon.
No more hiding. No more lying.
Whatever it is
We'll get through it together, Mon
Please trust me and tell me
M: Sam...
S: Mon...
M: Sam, I promise to tell u soon, okay?
S: Why can't you tell me now, Mon?
Is it bad?
I can't fix it. If u don't tell me, Mon

I promise, no matter what, I won't blame you at all
Please don't let me find out somewhere else or through someone else. Mon

M: Sam, I just... I uhmmm...

I've been working on something that uhmmm... needed Ray's help
I promise it isn't something bad, Sam
I promise I am not betraying you if that's what you're worried about
It's just something that isn't convenient to share with u now, Sam
I just need you to trust me, ok Sam?
S: I do, Mon. I trust u, but
M: Sam, have faith in me
All that I do is for you
I will never lead u astray Sam
S: I know Mon. I never doubted that, but...
M: No buts Sam
I said it before, and I'll say it no matter how many times it takes for you to believe it
I am yours, Sam
My everything belongs to you
Please trust me
I will always choose you Sam no matter what.
(Sam slumped her shoulders dejectedly. She couldn't force Mon to say anything.
Mon is asking her to trust her, so what else could she do but blindly follow)

The next couple of days had been a blur
Mon has been so preoccupied.
Sam could hardly talk to Mon.
Sam's anxiety was through the roof!
She resisted so many times not to confront Mon and Raymond
She wanted so bad to go to Raymond and make him talk to get whatever this was over with, but remembering Mon's plea to trust her, Sam just couldn't go through with it
It feels like she was walking through needles the whole time, and it's killing her!
It's not just being busy, too
Mon had been distant lately, and it's worrying Sam
S: Mon, are u ok?
M: yes love I'm good
S: uhmm... Mon, are we good?
M: Yes, of course. What's up, Sam?
S: it's just because you have been so cold and distracted the past couple of days. Mon
I'm worried
M: Don't worry, love
It's nothing. I'm just tired
I'm sorry if I haven't been giving u my time lately
Just give me a couple of days, ok love?
I promise I will make it up to u!
S: Hmmm...
(Mon feeling something is wrong with how Sam responded, immediately turned to Sam and asked)
M: What's wrong, Sam?
S: it's nothing, Mon
I'm just tired
M: Sam... don't be like this, please
S: i'm trying my best, Mon, but you're not making it easy
M: i'm sorry, love.
Come on. What do u want to do today?
S: Nothing, just continue with what you were doing
(This lasted for another 2 days until Sam just snapped)
S: Is it because of Ray?
Are u falling for him, Mon?
M: What? Where is that even coming from?!
This is ridiculous, Sam!
S: I don't know what to think anymore, Mon!
I want to trust u! I really do!
But can u really blame me?
You have been so detached lately!
Every time I look for u, you're either talking to Ray, chatting with him, or you are visiting him!

M: Sam, this is ridiculous!
Ray is one of my best friends and he is also your cousin!
Should I also remind you that he is also our doctor?
So obviously, I would talk to him a lot, Sam
S: Yeah, from the looks of it, it looks like he makes you happy, too!
You could've fooled everybody u know
Anybody who sees you too would think you were together!
M: Sam, not this again!
I have told u over and over that Ray and I are just friends!
You should know who my heart belongs to Sam
S: Well, I am sorry for being jealous of the guy who takes more of your time and attention than what you give your girlfriend who has been loving you for years and who has been waiting for u patiently every night!
M: Sam...
I know I have been distant lately, but I told you too, right? I'm just working on something and that it would be over soon
All I need is a little bit more of your patience and understanding, Sam
S: I have given you 5 days, Mon!
How much more time do u need?!
I just want my MonMon back!
Is that too much to ask?!
M: Give me today, Sam, ok?
I promise everything will be okay by tomorrow
S: You know, Mon, you're doing a pretty bad job at making me feel loved lately
I'm trying not to think about it
I know that you will never betray me, but Mon, I am already insecure enough as it is!
There are a lot of things that I couldn't give u, and Raymond could!
He could give u everything u wanted!
A family
A normal life
Peace and security
A partner who isn't sick and crazy!
Mon, do I really have nothing to worry about?!
M: Sam, u should have known by now how much I love u
U questioning me like this is making me really disappointed
I didn't think that u would think so lowly of my love for you
S: Then tell me Mon
Where were you the past couple of days?
Why were u so secretive?
What is this plan that u just couldn't tell me about?!
U even told my men to keep your movements a secret!
Did u really think I wouldn't know?
I am allowing it, Mon, because I love you!
But please... don't push me!
I can make them talk if I want to!
I just want to hear it from you, Mon!
M: Sigh. Sam, not today, please.
You're not making any sense right now, and I'm really not in the mood to argue with you today
Can we talk tomorrow?
I promise to tell you everything tomorrow ok?
S: Mon, please don't push me away, okay?
M: I won't love.
Please just trust me and hug me, ok?
S: Please, Mon. Promise me we'll talk tomorrow, ok?
M: I promise!
Sam dejectedly agreed, forcing herself to calm down for one more day
When Sam woke up the next day
Mon was no longer beside her
She walked down the stairs and looked everywhere but Mon was nowhere in sight
Worried, she hurriedly went back to their room and grabbed for her phone and called Mon, but the number was out of service
Sam was now even more worried!
She hurriedly called all her men and asked where Mon is, and all they said was I don't know
Sam was extremely frustrated!
She went ballistic!
This was totally unacceptable!!!
S: What do u mean u don't know?!
Isn't it your job to keep her safe?!
What am I paying you for?!
G1: ma'am our job description was to keep you safe
S: What?! You dare talk back?!!!
Do you really think I can't fire you, huh?
G1: Your lady, we were employed by your grandmother and were instructed to keep you safe.
We apologize if we have offended you, but we were told to stay by your side until further notice
S: Are u telling me I'm not your boss?!
G1: affirmative, your lady.
S: Get out! Get out of my sight!
If u can't find Mon, I'll do it myself!
G1: Let me drive u, my lady.
Where to first?
S: To Raymond
(When Sam came to Raymond's house, she found that there was nobody home.
She then tried the hospital and found that Raymond had filed for a 2 day leave.
Now, Sam is even more frustrated!
Her mind was spiraling!
Her thoughts kept thinking about Mon's sudden disappearance, and now Ray was gone too!
He isn't answering his phone either!
Sam then berated his guards!)
S: Are u telling me where Mon is or not?!
I am not playing with you guys!!!
Trust me, I can make ur lives a living hell!
Tell me now!
G2: My lady, we really don't know anything
The only thing we know is that Ms. Mon left around 430 am today and asked us not to follow her
At first, we were hesitant, but when she told us that she had gotten your consent to be left alone today, we had no choice but to let her leave
S: idiots!!! Do u really think I would allow her to be alone by herself?!
find her now!!!
IF YOU GUYS CANT BRING HER BACK BEFORE THE END, U WON'T LIKE THE CONSEQUENCES!!!!
