Sugar.
Glasses hitting the table.
Vodka filling up the glass and sometimes spilling out.
My heartbeat is racing with every sip I take out of my drink. At first each slip would burn my throat, but now I barely feel anything.
Each sip makes me feel more and more Empty.
It makes me feel like I'm alone in this world and that the only way to fill me up is by taking another drink.
Nobody's here to stop me from taking another drink so I raise my glass to myself.
Here's to the butterflies that I hope to drown with this shot.
