I was just silent while we were having breakfast outside the tent, gathered on the side.

"We'll go ahead. I still have much works at my office. So, we'll go home later," Storm told them.

"We understand. See you again in November. We'll be here," Kuya Breydon said.

Mandy quickly looked away when I caught her staring at me. My brows furrowed a little bit because of that weird act of her. I turned my gaze on Demi who was just eating quietly. When she noticed that I was watching her, she looked at me, so our eyes met. She didn't react; she just plainly looked at me like yesterday. But I noticed that her eyes looked weary. She later looked down and broke my gaze.

I just heaved a sigh and continued eating my food although I didn't have appetite. I didn't like eating together with them.

Afterwards, Storm packed our things to get us ready to go home. I just watched him, not saying anything because until now I was still not in a good mood. I should have not joined them a earlier but I didn't wanna be a loser in their eyes.

Storm looked at me and asked, "Why were you crying last night?"

"Nothing. I don't wanna talk about it," sabi ko at umismid.

He just stared at me for a few seconds before heaving a sigh.

He moved our things into the compartment of the car while I hopped in car, at the back seat. I looked out the window and Storm was talking to his cousins. I just waited for him.

A moment later, Sean sat in the driver seat and Storm sat in the passenger seat. And I didn't expect when someone sat with me in the backseat—it was Demi. I just looked at her, puzzling. Maybe she needed to go home too. Bahagya akong napasimangot dahil doon.

"Why are you in a hurry, Demi?" Sean asked her while starting the engine.

"There's an emergency in the house," Demi replied.

"I see," Sean said before finally driving the car.

The mansion was quiet when we arrived there. We could hear the echo of our footsteps, but mine didn't make sound because I had a sprain and I was limping. This place was always like this, but it was less creepy now because the idols were gone.

I glanced at Demi who was following us.

He caught me glaring at Demi. I just looked away.

"Oh, Storm. Akala ko ba four days kayo roon?" Biglang sumulpot mula sa kusina si Tita Marie.

"We're leaving," Storm told her, "Where's Lolo Max?"

"Naroon silang dalawang ni Eli sa garden."

Tita Marie turned her gaze on Demi and asked her, "Uuwi ka na rin ba, hija?"

"Yes, Tita. Mommy called me yesterday. There's an emergency in the house so I really have to go home right away."

"Sasabay ka ba sa kanila?"

Natahimik si Demi at napatingin kay Storm nang may pag-aalinlangan.

"Pwede naman siyang sumabay sa amin, Tita. Si Mang Jimmy lang ang available na driver, so she can't ride other else," Storm said, which triggered me. No, I didn't want to have a trip with Demi! I wanted to protest.
