PAIGE'S P.O.V
So, he doesn't even know her yet, but just left me here to suffer. Okay. My vision isn't perfect, but I still know what's going on around me. The new girl left and now Carl is chasing after her. Did I even pop into his mind?
Oh, your girlfriend is unconscious and bloody, I am going to go after a girl I don't even know.
I felt a cold rag lay against my forehead, and pat down my face. A soft hand rubbed my cheek, comfortingly. "It's okay...You're okay..." I knew who it was. Beth. She seemed to always be in a good mood. Well, at least when I'm around.
I could hear the conversations floating around the room.
"What if they don't come back?"
"I need more water for her."
I mean, this is Carl's girlfriend. He shouldn't leave her!"
'Girlfriend' Really? He promised he would never leave me. I'm starting to doubt that all over again.
ELIZABETH'S P.O.V
Oh no. There is no way Carl could overpower him.
"Ronny! Go!"
He tilted his head like a lost puppy. "What's wrong? Don't want me hurting your little boyfriend over here."
"He's not my boyfriend!"
"Then, who is the scrawny wimp standing in front of me, huh?"
"He's just a stranger..."
"Oh, really now? Why is he protecting you then? He's seems to know more about me than he should."
I saw the sun gleam off the knife in Ronny's hand as he swung it for Carl's neck.
