"What are you doing here?" I asked my bestest friend in the whole world. At this point my legs were wrapped around her torso and I was giving her a big hug.

"Someone told me you were in Mystic Falls. Then I was like oh shit she got out of hiding so I came to find you." She said with her famous grin.

"I missed you bitch!" I screamed nuzzling my face into her neck.

"Okay, okay, that's enough embrace." She said after a while. My legs entangled from her torso.

"Tell me, what's been going on Ren?" I asked. A century is a long time to be away from your best friend.

"Well..." She began all dramatically. "After you left you and didn't tell me I just went to college." She said. She's like only the one person I told about my blood.

"College? Your already 321 years old, how much more knowledge do you need." I said laughing.

"Well I had to fit in, so college was the best answer." She said laughing.

"Why'd you leave me?" She asked pouting very dramatically. My thing about Ren is that she curses all the time, even more than me.

"Well hiding for more than 900 hundreds years gets boring, and I had to fix a situation in Mystic Falls." I said trying to be as brief as possible.

But Ren knew exactly what I was trying to do. She stopped dead in her tracks and crossed her hands over her chest.

"Damon." She began and I nodded. "I knew you were still into him, you have to let that shit go." She said while laughing.

"Reeeeennnnnn I am over it, I just wanted to see how he was doing." I said half lying.

"He has a girlfriend." I said trying to get the discussion off of me. Her eyes were popping out of her face.

"She's pretty, but she looks just like Katherine." I said.

"Are you sure she wasn't just a side chick." Ren said and My jaw dropped to the floor I cannot believe she just said that.

"Nooo she's actually really cool." I said while laughing.

We were walking back to the quarter, because I wanted Ren to stay with us. Why would I let my bestie stay in a hotel when I have a big house she can hang with me in.

"Club tonight at 11." Ren said as we walk in.

"I don't know if I can." I said looking at her with puppy eyes.

"Don't try that puppy shit with me, why can't you?" She asked.

But before I could respond Elijah walked in. Thank goodness I thought, him and stefan have the best timing in the world. He walked up to me and pecked my forehead like he always does.

"I don't think we've met before." He said extending his arm out to her.

"Ren, I don't think we've met either. But I wish we had." She said. Oh my gosh I can't believe she is flirting with my Dad. Elijah just smirked, he always was a flirt.

Thank god Hayley came in to disrupt this awkwardness.

"Hey Zara, can I steal Elijah for a minute?" She asked.

"Sure." I said.

"Thanks." She said pulling Elijah away.

I couldn't help but notice Ren staring at Elijah ass.

"Not gonna happen." I said walking up the stairs to the guest room. Wait until she sees klaus I thought.

Since the guest room I was in had 2 king beds, Ren just stayed in the same room as me.

After a while of scotch, tumblr and Dominoes pizza Ren decided to annoy me about going to a club again.

"Why can't you go?" She asked pouting dramatically. It's time to tell her, why I have to stay.

"I'm a witch and a vampire." I said slowly. As soon as those words left my mouth she began fits of laughter.

"Rennn." I whined.

"Zara how stupid do you t-think I-I am?" She said while laughing.

"If you don't stop laughing, I won't go clubbing with you." I said and that shut her up.

"I'm being so serious, I don't know how it happened but I have turned into a hybrid." I said watching for her reaction, because if she laughs again I'm going to punch her.

"That doesn't make sense." She said furrowing her eyebrows in confusion.

"Well it's true so believe it." I said walking into my closet to pick out the sleaziest outfit I own.

"How?" She asked still stuck on the subject.

"I'll explain it later Renee." I said still browsing my closet.

"Ewwwww don't call me that." She said. I totally forgot that she does not like when people call her by her real name, which is Renee. She thinks it's girly but I disagree.

"We should totally were matching outfits." She said getting off the bed and helping me look for something to wear.

"Yeah, sure, okay." I said being sarcastic.

"We look good." I said admiring both of our outfits. We actually didn't look as bad as I thought we would. Since Ren was really good at makeup she put on this turquoise eyeshadow on herself. I gave Ren my matching sequin crop top and mini skirt. I decided to wear my plain white v neck crop top with my black high waisted shorts. I paired it with my cheetah print vans. Ren didn't really do anything with her hair she just combed it. But I on the other hand gave mines loose waves and I was ready to go.

"Ready bitch?" Ren asked studying her phone screen.

"Yep." With that said we headed down stairs to leave.

"Where do you think your going?" A familiar voice asked. What is she doing here anyways, doesn't she know she doesn't live here.

"Whose this bitch?" Ren asked and I couldn't help but laugh. I saw Genevieve twitch her hand, she better not try anything stupid.

"Klaus's side chick, why are you here?" I asked.

"I'm here to make sure you practice your spells." She said.

"Well I'm taking a break, who sent you here to watch over me anyways?" I asked.

"Klaus." She said.

"That means he's trying to get you killed, well thanks for watching over me but I'm not a baby." I said then brushed past Genevieve out the door with Ren following.

I honestly believe that Genevieve wants to die, because she keeps nagging me and honestly I don't mind giving her what she wants.
