Dear John, Here is the Peanut butter cookie recipe. It was my grandma's recipe. I really hope you like them.
1/2 cup shortening or butter 3/4 cups peanut butter 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 egg (Beaten) 1 1/2 cups flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Preheat over to 375F.
Cream together shortening or butter, peanut butter both sugars and egg. Then add flour salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet. Press with tins of a fork that has been dipped in sugar...or roll balls in 1/2 cup sugar before placing on cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
