Dear John, Was it difficult for you to learn guitar? I'm learning myself and I'm trying my best to learn but it is really difficult but it's not something I want to give up on. Do you have any tips or advice for beginners like myself?

Yes, it was quite difficult for me to learn guitar, but I was determined and bored out of my mind. I wanted to be Elvis.
I understand why you don't want to give up on it, because it's a really nice instrument. My advice is: stay determined and be patient. Learning guitar can be very hard and annoying. I've wanted to throw mine across the room many times. Also, try chords that you aren't comfortable with. Learn barre chords as soon as possible because it will make you a better player. They may seem difficult and downright ANNOYING, but try your best to master them and you will be playing beautiful music in no time.
