Upa x Reader: Master....notice me! Pt.2

"You do know she's way too old for you right?" Qi says as he takes a bite out of his lunch.

"What do you mean?" Upa asks.

"You haven't realized yet? It's pretty obvious." Liang said as he eyes Upa carefully.

"Realized what?" Upa grits his teeth, getting annoyed.

"Alright inmates. Building 5 is assigned to gallery art. Now get to your stations." Samon's voice fills the mess hall's air.

The inmates leave the mess hall and go to a room wear the inmates work on things for the public. Some such as woodwork, gallery art, clothing, etc,.

"What are you two even talking about? What haven't I realized?" Upa questions his inmates-who are more like friends but they don't admit that-as he begins to paint on a canvas.

"You will know soon enough." That was all Liang had said. Qi nods his head in agreement.

"You're pretty smart. You should figure it out in know time."

Before Upa can once again question them, he is interrupted.

"Why is this me?" Upa turns around and sees you standing behind him.

"(Y/n)!" Upa yelps surprised.

"I asked you a question inmate. Why is this painting of me?" You point over to the painting. Upa turns to look at his work and pales. His face is a bit of a red colour though.

Upa hadn't realized it but he was painted you. He had the colours right, your figure and your bust size. Something that caught your attention though was the smile on the painting. The painting looked like you on so many levels but the smile.....you can't even remember the last time you smiled.

"I-I....uh I..." Upa tries to come up with a reason for his actions.

He can hear Qi and Liang stifle there laughs behind him but he's to embarrassed to glare at them.

"It's nice. Keep up the good work." You patted the kids head and walked off to supervise some of the other inmates.

Upa stands there shocked. Slowly, he lifts an arm to touch the top of his hat.

"She touched my hat." Upa whispered.

Liang and Qi stay quiet as they watch their young friend.

"Master.....noticed me!" Upa couldn't help but turn around and smile at his inmates.

It shocked Liang and Qi. Never had they seen him smile so big. Maybe small smiles but that rarely happened. Still though, they couldn't help but feel happy for him.

"You realize it now?" Qi asks.

Upa looks up at them confused then it clicks. Slowly, he nods his head.

"Yeah. I love Master."
