Nico x Reader: Shy

You walked along side Nico towards the mess hall.

"Are your friends....nice?" You ask in a soft voice.

"Yup! They're super nice. Can be kinda loud though but they're nice." Nico smiles at you. You return the smile.

You and Nico have known each other for some time now. You we're both druggies in the slums but at the time you didn't know it. At some point you both got arrested and got medical attention after awhile of inspection. They found out Nico has multiple diseases, most of them unknown and highly impossible to have or even think of. You didn't have diseases like him but you did receive medical attention everyday to help your health. Actually just recently Nico and Yourself had finally met up again after getting separated due to different prisons around the world. Now you are reunited at Nanba.

"We're here." Nico says as he opens the door to the mess hall. You move to stand behind Nico and peek out; looking around the room.

Nico smiles at your extreme shyness and walks away, knowing yo Up wild follow him. You went towards the line to get food when a few people stepped in front of you two.

"Hey Nico. Who's the girl?" A guy with different coloured eyes says as he points over to you.

"Wait is she your girlfriend or something?" A guy with a long, bright hair braid speaks up.

"Is she the new inmate you wouldn't stop talking about?" A buff guy says.

"Yeah. This is (Y/n)." Nico moves out of the way so they could get a better look at you.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Uno." Uno says as he grabs your hand to shake.

Your face pales and you feel tears in your eyes. Nico covers his ears quickly and looks at his friends apologetically.

"Ahhhh!" You shriek loudly as your face is a bright red colour.

The boys fall backwards at the sudden noise. Some of the other inmates in the mess hall cover their ears.

You let out sobs as you run to hide behind Nico.

"Sorry everyone! (Y/n) is on the Shy side." Nico tries to clam you down as everyone rubs their poor ears.
