Dear diary,

The only things I brought with me to Ivan's house are you(obviously), a few changes of clothes, and my preserved flower bookmark[the davie flower]. It's really cold up here already, but I like it. I decided to go for a walk in the woods this morning, which is where I am now. Russia tried to come with me, but I told him not to. Although, now that I think about it, he probably followed me out here; I didn't exactly try to hide my tracks. I wonder what someone would do if they came through thr woods and just saw me here, sitting way up in this tree, just writing in a book. Must be weird.

Wait wait wait. There he is, standing under the tree. Ha, I guess I was right. But he isn't trying to hide himself, either. I wonder what he's up to... Ya know, he's kinda cute, just standing there, watching me like a hunter watches his prey. I hope I don't become awkward around him or something. That would suck.

I think I'm going to jump down and surprise him. That's a bad idea don't do that. Maybe I'll make dinner tonight. I am intruding, after all. But what should I make? American or Russian? Probably Russian. I'm pretty good at cooking, I think. I think this could be fun if we did it together, but he wouldn't want to do that. He doesn't really like me, I know.

I absolutely love sitting up here so high. It reminds me of flying, and of my mother. And it's cold, so it's nice. Keeps me alert.

I've been here all day, maybe I should head back to the house? I mean, it can't be comfortable sitting down there for Ivan. I'm going to go, so see you later.
