Marinette and I continue our walk around Shanghai soon rounding a corner into a plaza and looking around when Marinette points toward Adrien! "Isn't that Adrien? I knew he'd be in Shanghai but I didn't expect to see him," Mari comments and I nod. "Yeah, it's surprising to see his dad let him out and about. Come on we should say hi," We start to make our way over when we bump into a young lady around our age wearing jeans, white tennis shoes a black T-shirt with a pink dragon and white clouds design, a leather jacket, a blue cap, white sunglasses, and a backpack. "Sorry," We quickly apologize before waiting for the cross light to turn green.

Tikki and Flaake froze up pretending to be stuffed dolls when the young lady pulled them out of their bags. They helplessly watch as she rifles through the bags before turning around and stealing Marinette and (y/n)'s phones, kwagatamas, and miraculous.

Marinette and I try to call out to Adrien when we see him start to leave when that same girl that we bumped into a second ago bumps into us, running away from three young men chasing her. "That girl needs help, we can see about meeting up with Adrien later," Marinette says as she grabs my hand and runs after them soon rounding a corner into an alley so we could transform. "Tikki Spots On!" "Flaake Freeze!" We say the transformation words but nothing happens. Confused Marinette looks at her purse and I look at my purse/ backpack. Or at least where they would've been and gasped soon looking around for at least our kwamiis and started checking to see all of our stuff was gone including our miraculous. How could someone even steal gloves off of somebody that's wearing them?!

"TIKKI!" "FLAAKE!" We backtracked through the streets as best as we could looking for our stuff but there was no sign of them, only confirming that someone had stolen from us. We had lost our miraculous, kwagatamas, and our kwamiis, and without our phones to guide or translate for us we couldn't find our way back to Uncle Wang's or be understood to get help. Though with nothing better to do we still tried leading a man to bring us to his friends who gave us a notepad and pencil to try and help understand what we wanted.

"We're looking for these earrings and gloves. Have you seen anyone with them?" Mari asks, drawing a big black circle to represent her earrings and a light sketch of a hand with a glove. The old man and his friends talk before one walks in his place and comes back out with a black plate and a snow glove. "You might need to be more detailed than that," I tell her so she draws herself wearing the earrings and me wearing the specific gloves with an arrow pointed at the miraculous. The people looked amazed at the drawing as they started asking us questions and we both let out a sigh when an old lady grabs our attention and gestured for her to follow us. We're led to her shop where she hands over a pair of earrings and gloves similar to what we showed but weren't our miraculous. "They're nice and we appreciate the gesture ma'am but it's not what we're looking for," I try to explain but she hands them back to us stating something about us having them. Once again we start wandering the streets in the hope that we'll find our way back to A Thousand Delights.

Flaake sat in (y/n)'s bag unsure what to do, she didn't know how far away she and Tikki were from their owners and didn't want to take the chance of flying around and getting caught when (y/n)'s phone lit up it was Uncle Wang most likely wondering where Marinette and (y/n) were. The girl grabs the phone, denies the call, and takes the SM card out. A bell rings as the girl enters the shop and she calls out for someone named Cash.

"Fei! What treasures do you have for me today?" Flaake is thrown onto a counter with Tikki and their owner's stuff as Fei and Cash converse. "You going to tell me there's nothing of value again?" "I want to help you really but everything has a price and the price of these things isn't high." "Just tell me his name so I can stop stealing." "Until you bring enough to pay that price I can't give it to you. The bags are nice, phones are junk, the earrings, and gloves-" "They're antiques!" "I know more than you when it comes to this, they're common items. I don't even know what these are but they can go in the claw machine...400 UN for it all."
