Luka Chapter Thirty-Three

I was getting ready to head over to the river to help the girls plant trees with everybody else when Nino enters my room with Ivan, Kim, and Max. "You ready Luka? We're gonna go hang out at Adrien's!" "We are? But-" I start to ask when I'm cut off and dragged there. "No buts, this is the perfect chance for Adrien to experience a guy's night!"

We get to the gates of the Agreste manor and Nino starts explaining the plan, showing pictures of the Agreste manor, Gabriel Agreste, Natalie, and Adrien's bodyguard that was covered in doodles depicting them as a castle, a horned vampire with a pitchfork, a witch, and a monkey. "Our objective is to penetrate the impenetrable fortress, aka Adrien's pad. Our main obstacle, Adrien's old man is headed for Tokyo's fashion week along with obstacle number two. As for obstacle number three, we have our own secret weapon to neutralize him," Max pats his carry-on bag to emphasize the point.

"Operation Adrien begins now!" "Uh now, now?" Ivan asks and Nino responds with his own question. "Yeah now, now, what now?" "Now, now is when I promised Mylène I'd help plant some trees down by the river." "Wait the street thing's today?" Kim asks and I nod stating, "That's actually where I was headed before you guys grabbed me." "The probability of the girls being terribly disappointed in us if we don't help is 100%," Max chimes in, Nino soon pulling out some papers from his bag.

"Which is why I've come up with some official excuses for each of you. Like Kim has a swimming lesson." "Great I always have my trunks on me." "Dude, you don't actually have a swimming lesson it's just your excuse," Nino sighs and I cross my arms, "But that's lying." "Yes but Max is right the girls can't know about this so is the mission still on for Adrien?" "I won't lie to (y/n) but I'll tell her something came up." "Good enough."

We send our texts, letting the girls know we won't be able to make it, and ring the doorbell. "Hello, we're here to see Adrien, we've got to work on a school project together," The gate doesn't open so he rings again. "Word is you're one of the biggest superhero figurine collectors in the world, is it true your collection is only missing a few pieces? Including this incredibly rare Majestia Millennium Edition?" He offers, and Max pulls out the figurine and puts it in the mailbox before the gate opens. "By the way, two more of Adrien's buddies are gonna show up later to help with the project," Nino informs the bodyguard before we're shoved out the door and Nino offers another figurine.

"But if Marinette, (y/n), Juleka, Rose, Alya, Alix, or Mylène comes knocking at the door don't let them in ok?" Another figurine is given to the bodyguard after he opens the door for us to leave. "He sure strikes a hard bargain," Max mutters as we enter Adrien's room and he gives us a shocked look. "What are you guys doing here?" "We're here for the school project," Hints at it with a wink and reiterates it when Adrien doesn't get it at first. Once the bodyguard leaves we all shout, "Surprise guys night!" "We've never hung out at your place before and we get to hang out whenever we want so we came up with a plan to fix this injustice," We explain to Adrien who gives us a grateful smile.

"That's really cool of you all but my father would never allow it..." He trails off before changing his mind after seeing our sad faces. "Ok, as long as it's not for long and he never ever finds out about it," We cheer and start exploring Adrien's room it seemed like he had everything, video games, arcade games, a flatscreen tv with all the latest consoles, a huge bathtub, a climbing wall, a basketball hoop, a foosball table and even a piano that appeared from underneath the floor!

Ivan was playing a match of foosball with Adrien when Ivan's phone started ringing. "It's Marinette." "Don't pick up! You can't lie to save your life, if she finds out we're here you can say goodbye to guy time," Nino says, snatching his phone when one by one each of the guy's phones began to ring, the caller being Marinette or (y/n). I look down at my phone to see the caller id Mon Amour pop up when Nino snatches my phone. "No way Luka, she's gonna ask where you are and you already said you won't lie to her."
