B.B.

As I walked away

From our conversation

I plastered a smile on my face

And turned over the bracelet.

Didn't tell my friends

Why I had a frown,

Looking down again

Wondering if he wore a crown.

One friend noticed the difference,

She guessed it right.

I didn't say one thing

As I started to cry.

I was comforted

And loved, ranged from

Emotion to emotion

Until I found the lies.

It was really stupid, the stupidest ever

I was mad then crying

Then helpless and falling,

Smiling and lying.

I plastered a smile on my face

And turned over the bracelet.
