𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟓𝟏

"Alessandra."

There was a shadow of a woman in front of me, and when i looked up, I was greeted by the sweet smile of a woman I never expect to see.

"Mom?"

Her smile was warm and gentle.

A smile that warm my heart.

Parang nabawasan ang nararamdamang bigat sa aking dibdib.

I followed her every move, afraid she will disappear  when I blink.

Naupo siya sa tabi ko. Her thick long brown hair dancing in the wind.

I take off the shawl covering my hair. Gusto ko ring isayaw ng hangin ang buhok ko katulad ng sa katabi ko.

Nakaupo lang kami habang nakatingin sa karagatan.

I know na panaginip lang ang nangyayari at ayoko pang magising.

"It's nice here."

Sumang ayon ako sa sinabi niya.

"And i'm glad we can be together like this. Come my love, take a walk with me."

Tinanggap ko ang kamay niya.

At ang sarap sa pakiramdam nang mahawakan ko ang kamay ng aking ina.

Hand in hand, we walk through the sandy beaches.

We laughed at the doplhin doing a happy dance while watching us.

And the water snake was dancing, happy to see us together again.

"Her name is Sage." turo nito sa water snake.

"Sage?" ulit ko.

"She was my pet when i was young."

"Wow!" bulalas ko.

Panaginip lang ang lahat pero mukhang totoo.

Huminto kami at hinawakan niya ang aking mukha.

"Your father would be happy to see you Alessandra."

"My father?"

"Yes, your father."

"Tell me about him."

And her smile could light up the whole world when she started talking about my father.

She was trully in love with my father.

"He is and will alwasy be  everything and beyond. You got his eyes, nose, mouth. I can't wait until you meet us."

Mameet niya lang ang mga ito kung patay na siya.

"Me too Mom, i can't wait to be with you."

Pinisil niya ang pisngi ko.

"Silly girl. I am here with you now, can't you see?"

Natawa ako sa simpleng pagpisil niya sa pisngi ko, pero may kasamang luha.

"Can i hug you Mom?"

Niyakap niya ako, punong puno nang pangungulila at pagmamahal.

I cried.

"Sshhh my Alessandra. Everything will be alright my love. I know how strong you are."

"Guide me Mom."

"I am my Alessandra. And don't forget i am always with you."

When i looked at her eyes, they are full of love.

"I need to go now my love. Magkakasama rin tayo soon."

"Allie!"

I heard someone called my name.

Lumingon ako pero wala akong nakikita.

"Allie, wake up! Please wake up!"

"Maia?"

"Mom, my friend__."

But my mom wasn't there anymore.

"Mom?"

She's gone but i'm still stuck in my dream.

"Allie!"

Narinig ko uli si Maia.

Next thing i felt was something soft was covering my lips.

Something wet was in my face.

What was that?

"Allie, please come back!"

"Maia? Something is___."

And when i opened my eyes, Maia's face was on mine.

Her tears, yun ang naramdaman kong basa sa mukha ko.

And her lips was on my lips.
