Another day that began great and ended terribly. A couple of hunters happened see me along the road and came to my aid. One of them left to their camp to retrieve some ingredients that could help with the pain, but it wasn't long before we heard shouting. The other hunter was running back to us with a spriggan and sabre cat in tow. I did what I could in my current condition, and we managed to kill them both, but one of the hunters was too badly wounded and bled out. I tried to save him, I really did, but I was already weak from my own injuries and from the battle. The surviving hunter helped to apply a much better splint on my leg and even gave me some food for the road. I wish I could have stayed to help lay his friend down to rest, but he urged me to continue on, else my wounds might grow infected.
