I finally did it! I defeated Priscilla in a duel! She was so incredibly furious that her friends had to hold her back from launching a fireball at me, which would've exploded and harmed the other students as well. She just doesn't get it, it's not about how powerful you are, it's about strategy. She launched attack after attack, and I blocked and dodged each one until her frustration caused her to drop her ward and try for a more powerful spell. That was my opening, and I zapped her with a lightning attack I had been charging, which stunned her enough that I could charge a more powerful spell and take her off her feet. Hopefully she learned something from the exchange, but considering Brelyna is breaking the rules by sleeping in my room tonight, I suspect Priscilla's more focussed on revenge.
