Ha, I reread my last entry before writing this one. Let me just say: life has a way of tethering you to reality. Can life really be this good? Let me ask the sky that decided to hurl a terrible storm at us on the way to the college, forcing us to take shelter in a cave. Or let me ask the Falmer who cut my thigh open, forcing us to retreat back out into the storm.
Brelyna and I are mending the wound, but I think it's obvious that I'm a little grumpy. I can't see us getting any sleep tonight, as this boulder doesn't provide much shelter from the freezing rain.
But you know what? Looking into Brelyna's face, into her beautiful dark eyes, eases the pain and discomfort. So, maybe life can be that good, I just need to look at it the right way.
