I couldn't believe he kissed me, then he kissed me again, actually he was still kissing me, oh god I could do this for the rest of my life.
"Um, so." Matt murmured.
I looked at him, oh god he kissed me.
"Shall we head back?"
I wanted to scream nooooo, but I nodded.
He pulled away from me and picked up his shoes, I was cold now, without his arms around me.
I picked up my shoes and we started walking back up the beach. I was wondering what happens now when suddenly Matt put his arm around my shoulder, pulling me into his side and kissing my forehead.
I smiled, it felt so nice, I had that fluttery feeling in my stomach.
We walked in silence, but I didn't care, we didn't really need to say anything anyway.
We approached the resort but before we got there Matt stopped, pulled me into his arms and kissed me again.
"I hope you don't mind." He whispered. "I kind of like kissing you."
I smiled up at him. "I don't mind at all."
"Good."
He took my hand as we walked in, and there was everyone, sitting around the pool bar, drinking and talking.
As we approached them Becca spotted us.
"Hey you two." She called out.
Everyone else turned to look at us, including Amber, she looked at me with pure hate. I suddenly felt horribly self conscious, like everyone was judging me and I pulled my hand out of Matt's.
He looked at me and I avoided his eyes, he sort of shrugged and put his arm around my shoulder.
"Please don't pull away from me." He whispered.
I looked up at him. "Okay, sorry."
"Ever." He added.
I smiled and I was still smiling when we reached the tables.
"I'll get a drink." Matt said.
I sat down next to Amelia and Becca.
"So?" Becca asked straight up.
I opened my mouth to tell her but Amber was just staring at me.
"It was nice." I said.
"Nice." Becca screeched. "Nice my ass, did he kiss you?"
"None of your business." I told her avoiding Ambers eyes.
"Of course he didn't." Amber snapped. "I told you what he's doing."
"Oh." Becca said, swinging around to look at her. "Please tell us."
"Yes, please do." Meg added.
"It's obvious." Amber said.
"Oh shush." Amelia told her. "Please Adrienne, did he kiss you?"
Before I could answer Matt walked over and placed a beer in front of me.
"Thanks." I said smiling at him.
Before I knew what was happening Matt leant down and brushed his lips over mine smiling.
"My pleasure." He whispered.
He walked over and sat with guys.
I smiled to myself and looked at the other girls.
"I knew it." Becca giggled, doing a little dance in her seat.
Amber stood up and stormed off. I didn't care, Matt had kissed me.
