It was a nice night, we all had a few drinks and some dinner, but it was made better by the fact that Amber wasn't there, she never came back down.
Eventually everyone started heading off to bed until only Amelia, Becca, Matt and myself remained.
"Think I'll head up." Amelia announced.
"I'll join you." Becca said.
"Yeah." I stood up.
Becca gave me a 'what the hell are you doing' look. I ignored her, I wasn't sure what she was getting at.
"I'll walk you lovely ladies to your room." Matt said.
The four of us headed up and when we got to our room Matt came in.
"Well goodnight, I'll see you tomorrow." He said.
"Yeah, goodnight." Amelia said, walking to her room.
"Night." I told him.
He smiled and went to his room through the door between our rooms.
I got ready for bed but I guess because of the little nap I'd had earlier I couldn't sleep. I got up quietly and went out to the living room and put on the T.V.
I got caught up in a movie and I was sitting there watching it when Amelia came out, fully dressed.
"Oh your awake." She said.
"Can't sleep."
"Me neither." She said quickly. "I'm going for a walk."
She opened the door and left. Walk my ass, I thought.
I went back to watching my movie when again I was interrupted.
"Hey, can't sleep either?" Matt asked, sitting down.
"Argh no, I wish I could."
"Yeah same for me."
I glanced at him, he was just sitting there in a pair of shorts and as I looked at his chest and arms I found myself blushing.
Jesus Adrienne, get a grip, I told myself.
"Wanna go for a swim?" He suddenly asked.
"Now?"
"Yeah now." He stood up. "I'll meet you down there."
He walked back into his room and I stood up.
I guess we were going for a swim.
I got changed and went down to the pool, I was the only one here, although there was still a couple at the bar but the bar was closing.
"Come on." Matt said, appearing from nowhere, he threw his towel on a sun lounge and ran and dived in.
I put my towel down and went to the edge and sat down.
"Come on." Matt said. "It's warm."
I slid in, he was right, it was warm.
We swam around, not really talking much and after a while I started to get cold.
"Let's race." Matt said.
Race, honestly, how old were we.
"Unless your scared." He smirked.
"Please, I'm not......." But instead of finishing I started swimming.
"Hey." Matt called out.
I made it to the other side and turned around watching Matt swim over.
"You cheated." He laughed.
"I did not, your just slow." I told him.
"Bullshit." He swam closer to me. "Your a cheat."
I shook my head at him. "Admit defeat."
"Never." He said reaching out and grabbing my hand, pulling me too him. "Your a cheat."
"Am not." I whispered, looking at him.
Oh god what was happening?
"You are." He murmured brushing his lips across mine.
Jesus Christ this was Matt.
"I have to go to bed." I said pushing away from him.
I quickly got out and virtually ran the whole way to my room.
