Chapter 98 - The Haunted Museum

"So are you guys ready?" Zak asks us all as he drives. Myself, Aaron, Rhydian, Tommy and Nick. It's good to see Nick again, it's been a few weeks.

"Yeah, can we just get there?" Aaron questions.

"We're nearly there" He says.

A few minutes later we finally pull up outside of a building, it's a fairly old looking building.

"This is the building?" Rhydian asks.

"This is a dream" Zak says.

"An old looking building" Tommy points out.

"Well this is exciting" Nick says sarcastically.

"Hey! It is exciting, this building has seen quite a lot" Zak defends it.

"And you're planning on turning this into a museum?" I question.

"Yeah, it has a lot of work that needs doing, but the building is bigger than it looks and it's historical in itself, it's perfect" He says.

"How long is it going to take to get it open?" Aaron asks.

"Probably a year or so, rooms need clearing out and refurbished, then I will get my haunted items and start putting them in here, I have a lot of ideas for this place, it's going to be awesome" He says.

"Right, well, I guess we should have a look around then" Nick says.

"It's a little dusty and abandoned so be careful" Zak says.

"Of all places and you bought this one" I say.

"Yeah, I don't know what, but something just attracted me to this place, like it was calling my name, I just had to have it" He says. Fair enough, his money, his choice.

"Right, well, let's take a look inside then" Aaron says as he starts walking towards the building.

"Door is around the side" Zak says as he takes keys out of his pocket, I guess they're the keys to the building. He escorts us to the door and unlocks it.

"This place is already giving me some weird vibes man" Nick says looking around.

"There shouldn't be much negative energy here, yet" Zak points out.

"No, it's not like a negative energy, it's just a weird vibe, like not exactly great, not but bad either" Nick says.

"I know what you mean bro" Aaron says.

"You guys feeling anything?" Zak asks us kids.

"Maybe a little bit" Rhydian says.

"I guess a little" Tommy says.

"We're not as sensitive to the energies as you guys" I point out.

"Give it a few more years, more experience, you'll know" Aaron laughs.

"You guys ready to go in?" Zak asks as he holds the unlock doors.

"Yeah sure" Nick says, the rest of us nod. Zak smiles as he opens the door.

"I'm so excited" He says as he steps in and we follow. He shuts the door behind us.

"It's kinda dark in here" Tommy points out.

"Yeah, the light switch is over here, but I'm going to change the lights as well" Zak says. Then the lights go on, they're a bit dim, but you can see enough.

"You're going to change the lights?" Rhydian questions.

"Yeah, it's going to be a haunted museum, it's gotta look a little eerie, lights play a big part in eeriness" He tells us.
