The night is upon them, time is approximately 19:00, two more hours and the performers are supposed to be sleeping.
But both groups are far from tired, not an inch even. The two bands are talking about the experience that Nate and Rosa was about to suffer, making the boys angry and the females not too happy either.
Ash: And he said none would be able to touch him when he was done?
Nate: Precisely. That ugly face didn't help either when he began to try himself on us.
Hilbert: Good decision of Marius to stay behind though, cause he was right in his suspicions.
Ethan: All the more reason to stop doubting him as much.
Red: But then again, if it wasn't right and nothing would have happened, how would he look then?
Ethan: You trying to think the other way around mr conspiracy?
Red: No, but i want you to think about the fact that he got us on the tour, and he knew the risks, so if anything had happened and he weren't suspicious, he would be the one getting criticism and we would have to stop touring.
Nate: That was a bit much Red, I think mr Conspiracy does have paranoia issues after anything happens.
''He didn't seem that bad when me and him saved Serena and Leaf from Paul's little attempt at having some virginity lost'' Ash thinks to himself as he observes the others debate. He doesn't find Red's words to be entirely true, how would Marius get more criticism than the security company who is supposed to be outside at all times?
Red however seems to have bigger issues with his new nickname
Hilbert: Well then, guess who would break us up with conspiracy theories
Ethan: I think it would be the red eyed guy, cause he lays down every theory to make people doubt something
Nate: i think the same, it's one thing that nothing bad did happen, but another that potential scenarios are thrown out wildly to make everyone think differently
Red: assholes
Ethan: Like you would be any better Red. Out of us all, you are the one who is the most difficult to work with.
Red: And why do you think that is?
Hilbert: Guess it steems from stubbornness to have your will the entire time
Ash just shakes his head, debate about why he is difficult to work with.
''I won't debate on this one, but i must say that the three have a point. Red is very stubborn whenever he wants something'' Ash thinks to himself, but then again, there might be some reason behind it. He just doesn't know it.
With Marius
A long debate has gone on between the gym leader of Pewter City, Brock and Marius. Brock, the ever closed eye guy has tried telling Marius that things like the kidnapping incident is usual in Pewter. Marius however does not like that he does nothing to stop it.
Marius: And what?! You expect us to take the brunt of something you have to fix?!
Brock: I can't do anything. People here don't like to work, so they do the most to cash in on opportunities. Plus that the two was fair game
Marius's eye twitches
Marius: fair game? Fair game?! I'll tell you what is fair game, your career!
Brock: How? You're not someone who can appoint people as you like.
Marius: Maybe not, but i know how to put in the correct words to have your gym leader post terminated and brushed away forever!
Brock: That won't happen, the people would more have me here than anyone else
Marius scoffs.
Marius: You? The people don't give two flying fucks about you! If they feel wronged, they come to you whereas you don't do shit to help them!
Brock: Marius, i know you don't like it. But that's life in Pewter, the older population here want more ass to play with, the younger generation is more interested in music and s*x. The midle generation all just want to retire and have money.
Marius: Then why don't you try do something about it than just sit here and do nothing?! You have authority to crack down on that corruption and make people go work honestly! It's like none has any morals anymore in this shitty region!
Brock: Well you came here, so why don't you try to run for President if you know how to put an end to this?
Marius: Because i am not a politician, i work in an industry to promote talent around the world as we know it. Kanto has had Unknown, Johto invented Break Dancing, Hoenn gave us water park shows, Sinnoh gave us ice festivals with professional dancing, Unova gave us the Pop genre, Rock genre and most of the music we today listen to. Kalos gave fashion shows to models, Alola just gave us vacations, and the Galar region gave us a culture of drinking tea.
Brock: i still don't see it, why do you then give room to The Pokeband and Destiny? Two bands who don't know how the world works? And who can't make music for shit?
Marius: i think you would be dismayed to find the population of Kanto to disagree on you with that statement. They have been making music since they were six years old, they made cover versions of popular Unknown songs, and they won a talent contest in the school of Pallet Town. Destiny has done much of the same, only they reached fame before the boys due to school relationships.
Brock: Well sad to hear, but they don't have a future.
Marius: Oh they have. And i am going to steer them in the direction to success.
Brock gets annoyed, he has this world view that teens can't do things right, seeing Marius who is only a few years older than him argue that teenagers have a future is making him really giddy.
Brock: I'll be looking forward to that. Cause then i will be the one calling you out that it didn't work.
Marius: You know what Brock? You're a bummer. Did your dad run away to shame you or what?
Brock: Don't you dare talk about my family! They're private property!
Marius: Then tell me, why do you allow people's lives to be ruined, if your family is private property? You have a double standard as the effective protector of this city.
Brock remains silent, Marius caught him.
Marius: Trust me, when the right people hear of it, they will be removing you from your post if you won't change.
Marius rises from his chair and turns. He begins walking to the outside, wanting to make sure nothing has gone wrong with his clients
Brock: Wait!
Marius turns, not very interested in what he has to say
Brock: How about we make a deal?
Marius crosses his arms, what kind of shitty offer is he going to present now?
Marius: I'm listening, what do you propose?
Brock gulps, he doesn't know if this will work out properly, he has heard of Marius's reputation as a good negotiator with a backbone.
Brock: How about, i encourage people in Pewter to be more productive, and try to get them to let corruption die?
Marius: And for that, you want?
Brock: I want to be given a chance to make moves on one of your clients, i think her last name is Yyvonne
''What, the actual fuck?'' Marius thinks to himself
Brock: s. s. Serena was it?
Marius: I'll tell you one thing here Brock. If you would have some decency in that darn soul of yours, you would propose to crack on corruption for free. Making moves on Serena Yyvonne is out of the question, she already has someone in sight.
Brock's eyes almost open when hearing that
Brock: What?! Who?!
Marius smirks
Marius: None of your business
Marius then opens the door and leaves Brock's gym center.
''That idiot, thinking he got any kind of moves to show Serena. It's clear as day that she has a thing for the raven haired leader of The Pokeband'' he thinks to himself as he makes his way towards the hotel.

I really have small hopes for Kanto at the moment, when even a gym leader is corrupt, there is something really wrong.
