Lizzie's pov
Now where nearing the end of my pregnancy, thank god. Y/N has been working hard with his night classes and he's been very helpful with me especially since I'm about to pop at any moment. We still haven't picked out a name either. I'm currently sat on the sofa watching Disney movies with Scar and Rose.
"So how long do you think he's got left of school?" Scar asked me as Rose kept her attention on the TV.
"I'm not sure. Probably a couple of months." I told her with a soft smile.
"What's he doing after it?" She asked me.
"He said he wants to get his teaching degree and teach." I told her remembering the conversation we both shared
"I think that's amazing that he's working hard for it. You've gotten lucky with him." She told me honestly. She got up to answer the door as the pizza arrived. The three of us sat and ate like we hadn't been fed for years. We all looked up when the door opened to see Y/N.
"Hi baby." I greeted him with a toothy smile
"Hi my love." He said as he gave me a soft kiss. "And there's my other favourite girl." He said as he kissed my stomach making me smile widely.
"Oh yeah don't worry about us." Scar said sassily making me laugh
"I didn't know you were carrying my baby?" He teased her making us all laugh.
"You know what I mean." She huffed out
"I think mamas a bit sour today rosebud." He said to Rose as he picked her up.
"Yeah she is." She said with a smirk.
"Oh come on, you've even got my daughter siding with you." Scar whined.
"She's my young padawan." He told her with a smirk as Rose stuck her tongue out at Scar. I couldn't help but smile at the interaction between him and Rose and it only made me think about how he will be with our little princess. "Well I'm gonna go an shower." He said as he set Rose back next to me. I watched as he walked upstairs.
"He looks tired." Scar said as she looked at me concerned.
"Yeah he does. He's been working hard lately with school and helping me." I said softly.
"He still has nightmares doesn't he." She stated already knowing the answer.
"Yeah he does. I just hate that he had to go through all of that." I said sadly.
"Hey, he's really strong. The strongest man I know. He will get through all of this with you by his side." She reassured me making me smile.
"Can you two be quiet I'm trying to watch." Rose said making us both laugh at her.
"She definitely is your carbon copy." I told Scar who just smiled at her daughter.
"Well I can't wait to meet your little one." She said as she touched my stomach
"I know I just need her to get out and stop using my bladder as a trampoline. The constant peeing is tiring." I said with a smile as I looked at my stomach.
"Look, I get it. You are happy that auntie Lizzie and uncle Y/N are having a baby. I am too but I would he even happier if you shut up and watch the film with me." Rose said as she scowled at the both of us. We both just burst into laughter at her sassy ways. "God I don't know why I bother with you two." She said as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Oh god I need to pee." I said in between laughs.
"Do you need help." Scar asked just as Y/N came up behind me.
"It's OK Scar, I've got her." He told her with a smile. He helped me up and upstairs to the bathroom. He waited for me to finish on the toilet before he helped me up. I washed my hands before pulling him in for a hug.
"I'm definitely ready for your spawn to be out of me." I told him which made him smile.
"I am too. I would like my soft and gentle loving Lizzie back not this hormonal monster you have become." He said with a chuckle. I just glared at him and watched him change his demeanour. "I love you?" He said with a smile.
"I hate you." I told him as I walked back downstairs. He was right behind me incase I needed him. I couldn't help but smile at how attentive he is with me. He helped me sit back down before he went to the kitchen and made us all a hot chocolate each for while we were watching the movie. I watched as he walked back to the kitchen. "Where are you going?" I asked him confused.
"I'm just doing some assignments for school and studying. I've got finals coming up so i really need to pass to get my G.E.D." He told me softly
"Well you're forgetting one thing." I told him sternly. I watched him walk back over and give me a soft kiss. "That's better." I said as we heard Rose clear her throat.
"What's up Rose?" He asked her with a smile.
"You're forgetting about me." She said with a pout. I watched as he gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Do you need one Scar?" He teased as she just threw a cushion at him. We all laughed at the way he likes to wind Scar up and vice versa. He soon left to go into the kitchen. After another movie Scar took Rose home for bed. I was tired of sitting on the sofa so i tried to get up.
"Baby?" I shouted through to him.
"Are you OK my love?" He asked me sweetly
"I want to get up." I told him with a smile.
"Do you want a shower?" He asked me as he helped me up.
"No I just want to cuddle you please." I asked him with a smile.
"Of course, I will just get you upstairs and I will make sure that everything is off and locked ok?" He said as he helped me up the stairs.
"Yeah that's OK baby." I told him with a soft smile. He helped me get my fresh joggers on before he helped me in bed. I couldn't help the huge smile that was on my face because of how gentle he is and I honestly can't wait to see what he will be like when little lizzie is here. What I do know is that he is going to be one hell of a dad.
