TRIGGER WARNING: KNIFE VIOLENCE AND THREATS.
PROCEED.

"Hey Chiharu," I called out as I entered the agency, smiling at said woman.

"Shut up," she yelled, voice muffled by her arms that she had her face in.

"Still don't like getting up early?" I asked, leaning over her desk to look at her. Her hair shiny and pulled back into a ponytail, one that grazed her shoulder blades.

She screamed into her arms before looking up at me.

"How do you do it? How in the hell do you get up early for work?! I don't get it!" She exclaimed, grabbing my wrists and shaking them.

I laughed, looking at her.

"Because I know that today will be a good day."

"Deku on line two!"

I looked up from the report I was writing when Chiharu called out from the front.

"Izuku?" I muttered, picking up the receiver and pressing the button for line two.

"Detective (L/N) speaking."

"Hey (Y/N), it's Izuku. I kind of um—" he paused and I heard a muffled 'Kacchan, please, you're being a child' in the background. "Sorry, I have kind of a big favor to ask."

"Anything for you Izuku, what's up?"

"I need to take advantage of your detective skills for a little bit."

"What for?"

"There's this case me and several other heroes have been working on for a while, and we keep coming up short at every angle. I was hoping you could help? Provide some insight?" He sounded nervous, like he was scared I would start yelling.

"Why didn't you say so? In that case they are yours to take advantage of my friend. When am I getting details?" I asked, reaching up to fiddle with my earring.

"God, thank you (Y/N)— would you please be quiet— you're a saint. Should I send a car?" Izuku asked, and I tried not to chuckle at his interjection.

"Oh, right now, ok, um— no need for a car, where are we meeting?"

"My agency, get here as soon as possible please."

"Of course."

"Kacchan please be quiet I was on the—" the dial tone rung in my head as he hung up and I chuckled. After talking with both Bakugo and Izuku about their less than ideal history, I knew that Kacchan was Bakugo and that the name Deku actually came from Bakugo's incessant bullying all throughout Izuku's life.

Grabbing my bag, I threw the strap over my head and onto my opposite shoulder, making sure I had whatever I needed.

"I'm going out," I called as I walked towards the front, "got some business to take care of."

"With Deku?" Daichi asked, popping his head out of office.

"Yes, with Deku."
