"When did my life become a bad Hallmark movie?" I whispered to myself as I gently placed Iida's head on a pillow. I took his glasses from his face and placed them on the coffee table. I placed a glass of water beside them and note which basically said that he fell asleep and I was down the hall in my room if he needed me.

I trekked to my room, shedding my clothes and adorning my sweats, feeling like a new person. I crawled between my sheets, not letting anything stop me from sleep. I closed my eyes, drifting off into the abyss like some sad anime protagonist with a troubled past.

My eyes shot open and I sat up.

"Oh my god," I whispered, "my life isn't a bad Hallmark movie, it's a cheesy anime." I paused. "Is that better or worse?" I laughed, laying back down. "All I need is Kaminari under my window singing to me, and I'd be set."

I flipped my sheets off my body, running to my window and looking down. I sighed in relief.

"Oh thank god."

I leaned against my counter, sipping on my mug. I watched Iida as he slept, his chest raising and falling.

"Why do men keep showing up at my house unannounced?" I asked myself. "Can a cute girl show up every once in a while? Like Jiro. Or Momo. Mina was fucking adorable. Any of them, dear lord, any of them." I thought about my words for a moment. "Yeah I see nothing wrong with my statement."

I sat down, opening my laptop and checking my email. It was mostly people saying they "await my return," and "miss me dearly." I checked a few other things, and considered trying a new thing I've been theorizing about with my quirk.

"Where am I?" Iida asks, sitting up and feeling around my coffee table for his glasses. I look over at him lazily.

"Oh hey sleeping beauty. Welcome to the morning after." I say, looking back at my screen. He stammers for a minute, causing me to laugh. "Calm down, I was kidding." He sighed.

"I'm sorry again for barging in on you. It was rather rude of me." He said, walking towards me in the kitchen.

"Don't be sorry, it's alright. I have a strange feeling that a lot of people will randomly show up at my door over the course of my leave." I said. I got a mug out of the cupboard. "Coffee or tea?" I asked.

"Tea, please." I poured water from my pot onto a fresh tea bag. I prodded it a bit with a fork and handed it to Iida.

"Honey and sugar are over there." After fixing his drink, he sat on the other side of my counter, and I had a flashback to yesterday morning.

"I'm not jealous, are you stupid?!"

"Hey, Iida?" I asked. The male looked up from his drink and adjusted his glasses.

"Yes?"

"You know I'm always here right? You can always come to me with any problem or concern. Even if you just want to talk about our days. I'm here for you. You know that?" I asked, genuinely worried about the man. Sure, he was a capable adult, but he came to my apartment crying at night. If that's not concerning, I don't know what is.

"Thank you. I'm sorry for burdening you with my problems. It was so ungentlemanly of me." Iida said, looking back down in his tea.

I put my hand on his, causing him to look back up at me. "You aren't a burden. I'm here to listen, that's what friends are for." I smiled, and Iida returned the favor.

"Thank you for saying that."

"So," I said, changing the subject, "what does Ingenium Second Gen do in his free time?" I asked, putting my hand on the counter. Iida reached over and put his hand on mine. His hands were warm and rough, rather large. I blushed a bit, closing my laptop and covering my face a bit.
