If the first Lion King is Hamlet then Lion King 2 is Romeo and Juliet. Another Shakespeare play Disney decided to do. Simba is now king and he has a daughter who is the future queen. She met a lion by the name of Kufu who is in Scar's pride. Scar is dead now and Kufu is suppose to be the new king of that pride. His mother wanted Kufu to kill Simba. When they grow up , Kiara, and Kufu saw each other again and while at first Kufu was apart of the plan to take down Simba, he later fall in love with Kiara. Together they reunited the two prides and were able to be together. I love this movie because it is like Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet is my favorite play from Shakespeare. I recommend it to everyone. I think this would be my favorite out of the three Lion King animated movies.
