Moving On [13]

"How big is this club?"I asked. 

"Gigantic."Danny said. 

"Perfect for a masquerade ball." Sara said. 

"Ball? I thought it was a masquerade party." 

She waved me off,"Same difference." 

"But at balls don't you have to dance and crap?" I asked. I could dance to modern step but ask me to box step and I have two left feet. 

"Don't worry, we have modern stuff and only two slow songs. Plus you have a guaranteed dance partner." Lacy said, nodding behind me. I turned around to see Shane all dressed up in a princey costume. He looked better than he usually did. He spotted me and he hurried past a crowd of gawking girls over to me. My friends took that as their cue to leave. 

"Happy Birthday beautiful." He said hugging me then pecking me on the lips. 

"Thanks." I said blushing as we stood there. 

"No problem, so what do you want to do first at this fine party?" He asked giving his hand to me. 

"I don't really know." 

"Well you look great tonight, every guy will be all over you tonight and wherever your moving to." He looked sad for a second. 

"Well we still have tonight." I said stopping and turning so I was standing in front of him. 

"I know." He leant down to kiss me and as we pulled apart the first slow song of the night came on. 

" Let's dance." Shane said, pulling us towards the floor.  

"Shane, you know I can't dance." I said, trying to pull him away from the floor. 

"Just follow me." He succeded in pulling me onto the floors. Damn his muscles I thought. 

Soon we were on the floor and he was moving and I wasn't. He looked at me and I shook my head. I was just weird lik that. I could move fast but I couldn't move slow to music. He shrugged and kept dancing and I'm sure we looked weird with me just standing with his arms around my waist so I sucked it up and started to sway along with Shane. That earned me a smile from Shane. 

"See, it's easy."Shane said teasingly. I rolled my eyes and let my head rest on his chest. The song ended all too soon and in it's place Like a G6 came on. I quickly pulled Shane off the floor and to the refreshment area. He was laughing the whole way there. I smacked his arm and he stopped. 

"Ow what the hell?" he said rubbing his arm. 

"Never again." I said. 

He burst into another fit of laughter,"You should have seen your face just now."  

I was about to start laughing to but decided to walk to the bathroom."

"Hey where ya going?" He said walking behind me. 

"The bathroom." I said in a fake angry voice. I walked into the bathroom and saw Sara and Lacy already in there. When they saw me they smiled widely then each chorused a long awwwwwwww. 

"Aww what?" I asked. 

"We saw you with Shane!!!" 

"Oh gosh." I said, but I grinned. 

"We got pictures!!!" My smile quickly faded. I ran over to them and saw the photos in question. They were actually really cute. There was one of him pulling me onto the floor, another one of me just standing there while he danced, and the last one was of us dancing with my head on his chest.
