I woke up feeling restricted. What the hell? Where was I? I looked up at the window and saw that it was still dark outside.
I felt something move and then I realized there was an arm around my waist. I turned around and came face to face with someones chest. I couldn't help it.
I screamed. I tumbled off the bed and was glad when I saw I had a dress on. The guy sprang up. His messy hair in all directions. He switched the lights on.
"Seth?" I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Stacey! What the hell it's 2:00 a.m!"
"Excuse me? You wanna explain why the fuck i'm in you're bed? And you don't have a shirt on?!"
"You got drunk at the masquerade and almost fainted and you were crying. Ring a bell?" He said harshly.
Suddenly everything came back to me. The masquerade, finding out that Shane cheated on me with multiple girls and Sara, seeing him with Kelly, taking a shot of alcohol. I felt a tear run down my cheek.
"Are you crying?" He shook his hair out of his eyes.
I ignored his question. Why would Shane do that to me? Why would Sara do that to me? I started to cry harder. The pounding in my head chose this moment to also make itself apparent. I didn't even notice as Seth wrapped his arms around me, hugging me tight.
"Tell me what happened." He said softly.
So I did. I told him everything. I hoped he could understand through my tears. When I was finished he didn't say anything. I looked up at him and I saw anger in his eyes.
"You deserve better." Was all he said.
I didn't say anything. He used his thumb to wipe away my tears. I shivered at his touch.
He didn't remove his thumb right away and I looked up at him. Something must've clicked because he stood up and moved away from me. He opened one of his drawers and pulled out some type of medicine. He walked into his bathroom with a cup of water and two pills.
"For the hangover." He said.
I took it and drank the water. He handed me a t-shirt which would be huge on me and a pair of boxers.
"You can change into that."
I thanked him and walked into the bathroom. I changed into the clothes. I rolled the boxers up so that they weren't so big and now they were also like regular shorts on me. The shirt was huge so I tied it up. I wiped off the makeup and tied my hair in a ponytail.
I walked out and saw Seth was now shirtless and wearing a pair of black sweatpants. He was putting a pillow on the floor. He looked me up and down and was about to say something but didn't.
"You're sleeping on the floor?" I asked.
He nodded, "I'll give you the bed and i'll sleep on the floor.
Before I could protest he left the room to go get some blankets. I sighed and lay down on the bed. I put myself face down onto the pillow. It smelled like him. I smiled a little to self and with that final thought, I fell asleep.
I woke up the next morning with a back ache. I sat up and stretched. I looked over at my bed and saw that Stacey was still fast asleep. She was wearing my clothes and I swear she looked better in them then I ever would. She was beautiful. But I couldn't act on my feelings.
