ik readers hate it when authors say this, but... please vote on this story! I work super hard on it, spending hours writing and editing and finding gifs to put this story together. I'm also in my final year of highschool/college so I'm super busy trying to get my university applications ready and doing work, scholarships, sports and other extra curriculars... so it would mean alot if you voted (the lil empty star on the tool bar is the vote feature!)
anyway this chapter is based on my experiences in japan when I was 15, I've been to all of these places and done all of these things so I recommend you do too! it was the best 2 weeks of my life fr. anyway, if you read this all plz enjoy you're a true og and ily!!! ♡

You got up at 8, per Jungkook's alarm and took a shower. He told you to dress nicely but comfortably as he did. He got dressed in just a hoodie and simple blue jeans with his half/half split colorway balenciaga shoes.

"Ok so we have to walk to the station then get on a train for a bit, is that ok?" He asked, checking as you dried your hair.

12 minutes later you were exiting the station at Akihabara, aka, anime, tech and gaming central.

You had breakfast in a Denny's, off the main walkable street that Akihabara was known for.

You would've loved to do the iconic walk down the road but it was the wrong day. You did manage to get into the middle to take photos while traffic was hardly existent in the early morning.

After a lively iconic breakfast he took you through the stores, pointing out character collectables, anime tiddies, to which you laughed at, as well as packed stores and cosplayers.

He showed you an alleyway way which led to a huge room of claw machines with all sorts in them. Phones, collectables, figurines, games, consoles, keychains and plushies were the main focus it seemed.

You stayed for a while and won some things including a Overwatch keychain for Jungkook of course, a squishy Shiba plush and some candies.

After enough Akihabara you made it to the train station again, taking the train to Asakusa.

It was around midday now so you walked through the mainly empty Asakusa shrine and Senso-ji temple, buying matching bookmarks and keychains.

You spotted the little koi river and watched the fish swim underneath the little bridge you were standing on.

You took self-timer photos in the manicured gardens before going to 7/eleven to buy each other a snack for later on in the day as Jungkook suggested.

After you found a little amusement park, hidden by the pink Sakura hostel, you bought the cheapest tickets and went on a few rides, laughing and smiling the entire time.

After, was a lunch stop at a nearby noodle place, you had some lovely Tempura Udon. (fried meat with thicc noodles, my favourite japanese dish of all time!)

Another 30 minute train ride and you were in Shibuya walking down the famous Takeshita street.

You wanted to stop at every shop front and every cafe, enticed by every single ones beauty and uniqueness.

He made sure you avoided the BT21 store at the end of the street, in fear of being recognized.

You did, however, stop in WEGO 1.3.5 and bought little squishies and some funky socks.

An 8 minute walk later and you were at Shibuya crossing while the sun went down.

You crossed the famous crossing and he stopped you in the middle to watch everyone move around, getting across the street like soldiers.

You stood in amazement until the timer lights started their countdown and you ran to the pavement.

He showed you up some stairs and without even realizing it he had sat you down at a stool in Starbucks, looking out on the crossing from a few stories up.

Your feet hurt for sure from walking so much but the stunning sunset dripping over the bustling street full of people made the pain disappear.

You didn't even notice that Jungkook had disappeared from beside you to get you drinks. When he came back you were taking a picture through the glass windows and he kissed your cheek as he put the drinks down.

You kissed his cheek back and shuffled your stool closer to link your arm under his and hold his hand, fingers linked between each other.

You leant on his shoulder as he sipped his drink, people watching contently.

"Thank you Jungkook." You said, implying it for not only the drink, but the entire day. It was perfect and jam-packed and fun and you spent it with the boy of your dreams, the one you didn't know was part of your dream.

The next day was their first concert so you forced Jungkook to have an early night.

You were in bed by 10:30, cuddling and drifting off to sleep.

The next day Jungkook was up early and you woke up once you heard the shower turn on.

It was 6:30am and you knew he was busy all day preparing for their concert. You played in bed and listened to him harmonise in the shower, smiling to yourself. Soon enough he was out and getting dressed.

"Is there anything you want me to do for the next few days?" You asked and he looked over at you, thinking you had still been asleep.

"Oh- uh- no- but you can just shadow us if you don't have anything you want to do?"

"I'm happy with doing that. I'll give you all the encouragement in the world!" You cheered and he smiled lightly at you so excited and wanting to be around him.

The first concert, that nights concert, went smoothly, everything was as perfect as can be.

The next day, towards the end of the concert you were sitting backstage watching them perform as they faced the crowd, occasionally facing backstage and giving you a smile to check on you.

However, when one of their ot7 songs ended, they all came off stage heavily breathing and bodies tired.

Jungkook came down worse though. You instantly knew he was working too hard....
