Camila's POV

"Have you for once gain did you argue with your mother?" Marielle asked, when we went out for a walk later that day.

"She treats me like a five-year-old girl"
I had a drink of the water that I carried "Also, what's wrong with going to Miami? I mean, I have a second family there, some friends and Lauren."

"Dom't treat your mother's opinion as if it isn't valid. Miami is not here around the corner. It's a very radical change, you will not have support from anyone while there."

"Mari, that's the point, if I'll have support. I met wonderful people while there and you must agree that the opportunity to be someone in life is much greater abroad."

"And you have to agree that the reason why you want to go to Miami isn't that" he stopped, to tie her tennis shoes "in addition, your motive has a name, surname and it irritates me deeply when she wants."

"It's okay, I do it for Lauren too" she got up and we continued walking "but I swear I thought seriously about the world that I knew there, if they gave me an opportunity it would be worth it.
Also, if I don't do it, my parents would pick me up and bring me back by force."

"Camila, wake up, you're wanting to move to Miami" she stopped walking, forcing me to do the same thing "you have always lived here, in Mexico."

"I know, but I'm trying to start a life outside of my mom's room, why not start it there?"

"Because the United States is on the other side of the world, with what money do you intend to survive? and whose house? how will you combine your study and work schedule? and time for Lauren?" She looked at me again "Eh? you thought thst you're going to get there and everything will be on a silver platter for you? well, maybe the diploma there is very good, but only for those who live in Miami or have a fixed place where they can be, without having to worry about time..." I chewed my lips

"You will only grow after having a job, and you will only have something decent until you receive your degree, and you will only have your title after you get a place to live" she said

I sat on a bench over there, exhausted from listening to her talk.

"I will have the unconditional support of several people" I looked at my hands "it would be easier if I had that support from the people here" she sat next to me "you know that sooner or later I'm going to go..." I looked at her "my place is next to Lauren."

"You really are very hardheaded"she hugged me "but I agree with that, your place is where you are happy.."she smiled "
I didn't tell you all this to make you feel bad, I did it because you need to think about everything before making such a radical decision" I nodded and "I don' want you to get there and see your fairy tale destroyed."

I know that she is right.

I arrived home at sunset, I left my cell phone on the table and went up to take a bath.

"They called you a little while ago." Sinu said

"Who?" I asked

"Taylor. I think."

I furrowed my brow, what the hell does Taylor wants me!? She never calls me.

I ran to my room and took my notebook, luckily I found it online.

"What happened?" I asked

"Hello to you too" she said

"Hello. Why did you call me?"

"I wanted to talk to you."

"For what?"

"Nothing special"

"And why didn't you wait to talk to me around here, as always."

"Do you want to stop asking questions? Be thankful that I spend money calling you."

"Okay... thanks" I laughed, giving up trying to understand what was going through her head.

We talked some time, several issues, Taylor told me how things were with her and Drew and about their new school.

"And your sister, where is she? I asked, already missing to talk to her I haven't talked to her two days ago."

"The last time I arrived, she was lying on the couch drooling on the pillow" I smiled "but when I turned off the television she murmured that I was watching her, which wasn't true."

"Is she  awake now?" I asked and bit my lips impatiently.

"It's fine" she stared at the camera "I already felt how I was changed."

"I love you" I sent her a kiss, laughing.

"You're not worth what you eat Camila" she said and then turned in the chair "LAUREN" she screamed A voice answered in the distance, not friendly "what?"
"UP NOW!"

I ran my fingers through my hair, in the frustrated attempt to accommodate it.

"I'm going to leave you alone" she said and sent me a kiss and got up, bothering Lauren as she passed through the door.

She approached and opened her eyes very well, to try to see what was so important in the computer. I said hello Slowly she opened the way for a smile that expanded as she sat in the place that was once occupied by her sister.

"Hello, my pink princess"

I pulled some of my hair behind my ear and smiled at her

"Hello."

For a brief moment I looked at her, her hair slightly disheveled and a little curly, her eyes swollen, declaring that she was sleeping and perfect pants.

I went to hug her.

"It's frustrating to see you and not be able to touch you" she commented, in the middle of a sigh.

"I know. I look very thick with this camera?"

"Oh, yes" she answered seriously "you are very thick. Huge, to be exact..." she mocked.

Lauren's POV

It's amazing how every time I see Camila she looks prettier than the last time. That's why I couldn't stop laughing when she enlarged her beautiful brown eyes and asked if she looks too thick.

"How funny..."  she murmured, capturing my attention again.

"I miss you very much."

"I miss you too" she said and sighed "what have you done the last two days?"

"Me? Doing something?"

"Don't come with that, Mrs. Jauregui, I know perfectly well who I'm dating..." she said and I laughed.

"Being honest, I'm doing absolutely nothing. What can be good or bad, depends on the point of view."

"How so?"

"Hm well, I haven't done anything useful, like looking for a job."

"Hm... talking about employment..." she started talking to me about her idea of coming to live here and how much her parents are fighting against it.

"Love, you know that I, more than anyone, I want to have you here, but if that means having to choose between your family and I do not know if it's worth it. Try to understand their points of view. And think well before making any decision."

"Even you are against me?" she asked

"Of course not. I just don't want you to leave everything there and come alone so that then you are dying missing them all there..."

"Lauren, understand something, I'm going crazy here. I can't stand a second farther from you."
