Tapping my foot irritated Draco who was sitting across from me in potions. His grip on his quill tightened, causing it to scrape harshly across his paper. Looking up he glared at me, his hair falling out of its usual slick back style. Winking, I continued my annoying, rhythmic tapping, my fingers joining in. "Annoying you am I?" I teased, staring at the boy who refused to break eye contact.
"Why hello, you must be the new transfer." Professor Slughorn waved in an new student. Everyones attention went to the new student. My breath caught in my throat and all I could do was stare at the handsome man. I was practically drooling at the handsome features of the new transfer. Who could even look like that! I was brought back by a swift kick from under the table, I jumped facing a scowling Draco. My eyes ended up going back to the new student. "There is a spare seat-"
"Right over here professor!" I called, raising my hand.
"How nice, please go take a seat beside Y/n, one of my good students." Slughorn smiled, going back to teaching. The new student made his way over, each step making colour raise to my cheeks, biting my lip- a loud thump was heard as Draco threw himself in the empty chair beside me, slamming his books onto the desk.
"This seats taken." Draco growled, the new student cowering away to the other side of the room.
"Jealous are we?" I teased, leaning in as he slung an arm over the back of my chair.
"There's only one person you're allowed to annoy and that's me." Draco sent the transfer another glare.
"My hero." I rolled my eyes sarcastically, going back to my work.
