"Let me guess, you're studying," James said walking down the stairs to the common room.

"Me? Studying? That's ghastly!" Lily set down her magazine and stared at him, "I'm not a maniac, I don't like to study in my free time."

James nodded, though unbelievingly, "Yeah, okay. So anyways I was thinking of some plans tonight. You know, sneaking out to Hogsmeade and all that fun stuff. Me and You, Sirius and Marlene."

"You and me," Lily corrected. 

"What are you, the grammar police?"

"I'll go but only for Sirius and Marlene."

"Fantastic! It's a date."

"We're just going as friends." 

"Third wheeling? How awkward."

Lily pat his shoulder, "You'll live."
