"So where's this movie thing?" Marlene asked, sitting on her bed at Potter Manor.

"It's just a little ways down. It's not even scary, I promise."

"Lily there was an ant crawling on my leg yesterday and I cried," Mary justified. "I think anything scary is scary."

There was a knock on the bedroom door, "I happened to hear you were seeing a movie thing tonight..."

"You're not invited," Marlene said curtly.

"Just think about it! You'll need someone to lean on during all the scary parts of this movie thing! It'll be a date!" James said.

Lily headed towards the door and shook her head, "We'll take it into consideration."

James smirked and looked over at Marlene and Mary, "I'm wearing her down. You'll see, we'll be dating in no time."

"I think she was just being polite and showing you the door," Mary said as a matter of factly.

He crossed his arms with a smug smile, "Only time will tell."

Lily opened the door and gave him a faint smile, "Actually I was trying to get you to leave."

James dropped his hands and scowled at Mary.

"That didn't take much time at all..." Marlene muttered.
