Lily sat in the common room finishing up a chocolate frog Remus had given her the other day. There was a tap on the window and a snowy owl was hovering by it. Lily quickly ran and let the owl in. The white bird flew in holding a poster in it's beak, not much larger than the bird itself!

Lily stared at it, knowing exactly who it was. Heck, anybody could figure it out. In bright red letters it said 'I will owl-ways love you!' 

"Hey Evans," James said walking down the boy's dorm stairs. "Fancy seeing you here."

"Nice owl."

"She's a real beauty, nothing on you though." At that, the bird pecked at James's hand. "Ouch! Bloody bird. Always needs to be center of attention."

Lily rolled her eyes, "You two must be perfect for each other then!"

"Come on Lily, go out with -" His owl whooo'd. "Who? Me of course! We rehearsed this Brandy."

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because Brandy will get too jealous."
