I'm so over this 'you need makeup' shit.
I work at a movie theater.
A MOVIE THEATER!
WHO THE HELL IS REQUIRED TO WEAR MAKEUP WORKING AT A MOVIE THEATER??
NO ONE!
She seems to think that they'd fire me if I don't 'put effort in' my appearance. She only made me put on foundation and blush, but I hate even wearing the littlest of makeup.
Mom should be teaching me: beauty comes from within
and all that bullcrap!
I told her to not be surprised if I wash it off at work and she told me I was coming off an 'entitled snob'.
No.
No, no.
An entitled snob would be DEMANDING they wear makeup, high end brands and fake ass lashes, not insist that they don't need it.
I'm serious about washing it off at work.
I'm seriously thinking about washing it off. At least during my break because I'm not wearing this crap all night.

Oh, who am I kidding? I'm gonna end up wearing this crap all night.
It's just the principle of it though!
She cares wayyyy too much for my taste.
She says I need to make more of an effort in order to get more hours.
I WORK 3-4 DAYS A WEEK FOR 5 HOURS! I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT THAT'S ENOUGH FOR ME! AS LONG AS I'M GETTING DAT MONEY, THAT'S FINE BY ME.
I just wish I didn't have a mom that forces makeup on me.
