Wisdom Teeth: When Can I Eat Like A Normal Person??

Wisdom teeth.

Not only do they hurt like a bitch after the first few days, but your diet? It's shit. I can't have anything I want for, like, six weeks!

I can have pasta (which I LOVE, but would get old real fast), Mac & cheese, scrambled eggs that I don't even know how to cook, protein drinks that aren't exactly filling, mashed potatoes.

The problem?

We don't even have milk! So I can't have half that shit because milk is a key ingredient! And Pinterest isn't helping with shit. Pictures of cheesy garlic bread, breadsticks, pizza (I don't even like pizza, but seeing pictures of it, watching my family eat it in front of me, imagining tasting the greasy, cheesy, crunchy-crust taste in my mouth annoys the SHIT OUT OF ME!), fettuccine which I can't have because the noodles are too long so I'd have to chew too much.

I miss the freedom of being able to eat whatever the hell I want!

I tried making mashed potatoes then remembered we don't even have milk, I tried having grilled cheese for dinner but it was too damn chewy (I guess as long as I rinse my mouth out with saltwater, it'd be okay, but that's not the point). All I had today that I didn't have to worry about getting in my teeth was yogurt and applesauce.

WHEN CAN I EAT WHATEVER TF I WANT??

I miss having more options for meals and snacks. My mom bought chips at Costco. Can I have any? No. Could I enjoy a bowl of popcorn with TV? No. Could I enjoy a brownie that my cousin bought me for my bday? No. Because shit would get stuck in my teeth.

I don't know if any of you have had their wisdom teeth taken out before if you could give an answer for how long after your surgery you were able to continue your regular eating habits, but I AM DRIVING MYSELF CRAZY!

One thing I'd been craving? Burgers and fries. *grunts* Fries! I could practically taste them on my tongue! And the meaty, cheesy, ketchupy and mustardy taste of the burgers have me wishing one would magically appear right in front of me. And that I'd be able to eat it!

*sigh*

I know this rant may seem a little silly and small compared to real problems others have, but I just can't take this anymore!
