Chapter 46:

"Mitsuya, can you stand?" I asked Mitsuya who chuckled and stood up.

"And here I thought you left Toman for real," He told me, 

"I had my reasons," I told him

"I'm sure you do," He said smiling, "Hakkai, let's do this," He told Hakkai who was standing confused and afraid "You're stronger than Taiju"

Takemichi and Chifuyu then attacked Inui and Kokonoi, while Mitsuya and I  were aiming for Taiju.

"I thought you're not allowed to fight because of your head injury," Mitsuya said.

"All the doctor said was not to get hit in the head anymore," I said laughing,

"Let's go, Hakkai, Akaza" Mitsuya said then we ran towards Taiju who laughed, I then noticed Hakkai was still standing in place. He was completely frozen scared of Taiju.

Taiju then punched Mitsuya in the face knocking him out. Takemichi and Inui also knocked out Takemichi and Chifuyu instantly.

"Now what do we do with traitors?" Taiju said, I roundhouse kicked Taiju but he blocked my leg with his arm. "You can't pull the same moves on me twice."

Taiju then punched me in the face knocking me back a few meters away. That raw strength was incredible, he could be as strong as Draken.

"Akaza-chan!" I heard Takemichi yell.  Taiju then went to where I was and kicked me in the guts. He grabbed me by the collar and started punching me several times in the head.

"You punch like a 6-year-old girl," I said as I spit out blood to the side. Taiju then tossed me toward the benches knocking down several of the benches as I landed on them.

I barely did anything in this fight.

Damn, I think I'm about to pass out, I couldn't move. That brute strength was too much for me. Fuck it, I wish I could apologize to Mikey right now and tell him I love him.

I turned to watch what was happening, Hakkai pulled out a knife and was about to stab Taiju when Takemichi got up and headbutted Hakkai, stopping him from going any further.

Takemichi then grabbed the sharp part of the knife and held it in his hand.

"Don't you get it?" Takemichi said "If you go through with this, you'll be an irredeemable bastard. You know this isn't right, this isn't how you fight back! I'm going to show you what it means to fight back!"

Takemichi then confronted Taiju but Taiju was beating up Takemichi like he was a fly buzzing around him. Takemichi was completely battered, everyone tried to stop him but he just kept standing up.

"Even the smallest chance that I can change the future then it is worth risking my life for," Takemichi told Hakkai. "Fighting on isn't painful, what hurts more than anything is loneliness"

"You can talk to me about anything, Hakkaim we're friends aren't we?" Takemichi told Hakkai, Hakkai fell on his knees and started crying,

"Takemitchy, please help me!" Hakkai told Takemichi.

If Takemichi could take Taiju on, then why can't I? I'm pathetic.

"God, I told myself I'd kill them but I couldn't even land a single hit," I told myself.

I got up from the benches and headed towards Takemichi.

"Good job, Takemichi-kun," I said as I patted him on the back "I'll take on Taiju"

I then went head to head with Taiju, he kept blocking all my attacks and kept landing his. He landed a clean hit in my stomach making me cough out blood.
