I feel awful.

I feel like the biggest jerk in this school.

I wouldn't be surprised if I am.

I had just willingly cheated on my new boyfriend.

Draco had cheated too.

But here I sit, holding Draco in my arms at the top of this tower.

His breathing was more controlled now. But he was still crying.

Saying I forgave him was a mistake.

I don't forgive him.

No one can forgive something like that.

I'm an idiot. A real idiot.

I was wrapped up in the moment. I was trying to keep him from killing himself for fucks sake.

But why did I say I forgave him?!

I cringed at myself.

I still don't know if I believe him.

"Savanna?" he mumbled.

"Yes?"

"I have to show you something. It's important." he began to stand up.

He wiped both of his cheeks off with his sleeve.

I stood up too.

He guided me over to the telescope. He turned it to fit a specific section of the sky.

He looked in it and adjusted it a few more times.

"Perfect." he said, "Look in it."

I fixed myself up to the telescope and looked inside it.

I saw the star. The star that was alone from the rest. The one bigger and brighter than the rest.

"What's this?" I asked.

Draco looked as if he was about to cry again, "I made it for us. For you."

"You made a star?" I gasped.

"Yes. My mother showed me... at the manor, you were asleep and she- took me outside and showed me." he explained.

I'm so confused.

I don't know what to believe.

"That's amazing." I say, shocked and conflicted.

He looked at me, as if he was waiting for some sort of reward perhaps?

"Listen Draco. This can't work between us. What you did to me was bad. I can't forgive you, and i'm not sorry about it. You hurt me." I say, voice breaking.

I don't love her. No part of her.

"I can't say I love you. What I did tonight was stupid. I shouldn't have said the things I did. I shouldn't have thought the things I did. I don't... trust you anymore." I said.

I stepped away from him.

He lunged towards me trying to grab me.

I flinched hard.

I got scared of him in just five seconds when he looked at me the way Tom looked at me before he did those terrible things to me.

He went soft then, "No- Savanna. I didn't mean to."

"Please- just leave me alone." I said walking away.

"I'm sorry, Savanna. Please try to forgive me."

I bring my hands up to my face and wipe away my tears slowly. "You cheated on me, Draco."

"Please just—"

"No."

"Savanna I swear... no one fucking believes me anymore." he cried.

I turned around to face him again, "No one wants to hear what you have to say anymore because everything you said to me was a lie. You're a liar! I don't want to listen to your useless words any longer." I yelled.

He stood with his mouth half open, raspy breaths coming out.

"If you're looking for someone to stick your dick in, go to your little girlfriend. I'm sure she'll love it." I say before I turn back around and leave.

I get back to the hallway, Draco following a bit behind me.

My crew neck sweatshirt and collarbone are still tear stained.

Oakley Darsenfell, a portrait on the wall caught my attention, "Why the tears Miss Holcombe?" he asked.

Darsenfell is one of the nicer ones. He's older than me, probably in his late twenties. Always checking up on me.

He has blonde, bed head hair, always in his face no matter what. Deep brown eyes, hardly ever seen.

I sighed, "Relationship trouble." I forced a fake smile.

"Ah love. Difficult game i'd say." he says.

I give him a nod.

"Go get some rest. And by the way, good job on your test today." he winked.

I thanked him and made it further into the Slytherin dorms.

Draco isn't too far behind me now.

I can almost hear his footsteps luring closer.

I stopped for a second, getting a weird feeling inside.

I walked a little further before it happened again.

This time, my forearm tingled, it felt like it was moving.

And then....

Pain.

I fell to my knees grasping at my arm as it burned and stung with an indescribable pain.

I wanted to scream.

Draco ran towards me now.

My grip on my arm was enough to cut off my circulation.

My mouth opened, as I prepared to wake up everyone in Slytherin house.

Draco made it to me just in time, covering my mouth as I screamed into his hand.

The sound was muffled but still very loud.

I gasped for a breath, and then screamed again.

My arm was tensed up when Draco rolled up my sleeve.

Dark mark.

The mark on my forearm swirled around in a hypnotizing way.

The pain felt as if someone were stabbing a sharp dagger straight through me.

"Shhhh." Draco whispered.

Tears from the pain rolled down my cheeks again.

As if I haven't cried enough already.

"Come with me." said Professor Snape, coming out of the dark hallway.
