"Hey, shortie," Soraru-san called out.

"Who do you think you're calling 'shortie'...?" the head of the Yamada family sounded cheerful just moments ago, but when Soraru-san said something about his height, he was mad. He let out a low growl as he challenged Soraru-san to say it one more time.

"Who do you think you are, thrashing around my turf, shortie?" Soraru-san glared down at him as he approached him, standing just right in front of him at this point.

The distance between the both of them was so close that I was starting to worry. I couldn't quite sit still anymore but Kashitarou-san and Amatsuki-kun gave me a look again, forcing me to stay where I was. Neither of them were planning to back down. At this rate, it wouldn't even be weird for them to start a fight at this very instance.

"Thrashing?" asked the Yamada family's head cautiously.

"What, you dared do it but didn't dare admit it?" Soraru-san provoked.

"You've been really rude since I came in, scum," the man growled.

I was ready to get between the two yakuza heads before things went south, but I stopped when I saw Shima-kun place a hand on Soraru-san's shoulder. Soraru-san didn't turn to look at him at all, his eyes were still on the man in front of him. The head of the Yamada family though, didn't really care about the staring down contest that they were having.

"Ah, Maashi!" The man exclaimed excitedly when he moved his eyes away from Soraru-san. He broke into a huge grin and it was as if you could see flowers popping out around him.

The way he switches from one personality to another was honestly scaring me.

Shima-kun was looking really grim. He was wearing this facial expression that I had never seen before. Though he had been strict with us the entire time we worked at his pleasure quarters, he always had a soft side to him. But he was now locking his jaws so hard, I could feel his nervousness from where I was. His expression was hardened even though he was greeted so warmly by the Yamada family head.

From the looks of it, it would seem that they knew each other, and I came up with a conclusion that they could be close friends, enough for that man to address Shima-kun with a nickname. But why was Shima-kun so tense if that was the case?

"Urata-san, what are you doing here?" Shima-kun asked with a hard tone.

Urata-san stepped forward, closing his distance with Soraru-san. He was about to take another step forward, but Soraru-san didn't budge. He only stood at his place, and at that moment, I realised why I was never deeply involved with his interactions with other clans.

It was because he knew that I wouldn't be able to handle the pressure. The atmosphere in the room could be so still and suffocating just from the presence of two yakuza heads. No one dared move a muscle or speak up in the room. I felt my hands tremble, from fear or nervousness, I hadn't a single clue, but it could be both at the same time.

I had never witnessed how serious things could be if they were up to it, and I didn't think I would want to. For now, neither sides had lifted their fists or unsheathed their knives, but I had a feeling it could be a matter of time before that happens.

I held my hands together and squeezed.

"... Move," Urata-san said with a low voice.

Soraru-san said nothing but looked down at him with an icy cold glare. Urata-san looked as if he was about to knock into Soraru-san as a means to challenge him, but Shima-kun pulled Soraru-san back a little before Urata-san could run into him.

That was a bad move, Shima-kun. Soraru-san was getting more and more annoyed, and he was starting to lose patience.

"I caught wind that one of my men was here visiting," Urata-san searched for something under his sleeves and retrieved a piece of candy before passing it to Shima-kun. "Candy?"

"That can't be the reason why you're here," Shima-kun said, ignoring Urata-san's offer.

"Oh, but it is. I was told he was here to see the 'Forbidden Flower' at your place, and to my knowledge, I didn't remember you having something as fancy as that," Urata-san kept a smile on his face as he pulled his hand back and unwrapped the piece of candy. He popped it into his mouth and chuckled. "Then again, do I even need a reason to be here?"

"So you-" Shima-kun wanted to say something but he was then cut off by Urata-san.

"I was the one who funded you money to start your business because you told me that you wanted to start over. Do you remember that?" Urata-san asked and sat down on the nearest seat by the table. He pointed at Shima-kun to sit across him.

Shima-kun clenched his fists tightly by his side but he didn't obey. He remained in place, right next to Soraru-san.

"I do,"

"So it should be fair for me to come visiting from time to time, right?"

Shima-kun didn't answer.

"But have you thought about how your people have been disrupting our business?" Senra-kun suddenly spoke up in Shima-kun's place. "They come destroying our property, and then harassing our courtesans, to the point it traumatises them-!"

"Senra!" Shima-kun shouted.

"Do I need to remind you that if it weren't for me, this whole business that you have here wouldn't even exist?" Urata-san's tone turned cold after hearing Senra-kun fight back. "I could stop the funding, or better, I could just have this place demolished. We could see how you can continue your business in that manner. That would be fun, wouldn't it, Senra?"

Senra-kun immediately kept quiet after listening to Urata-san's threats. It was clear as day that he was frustrated that he was helpless in this situation and actually made it worse. Shima-kun couldn't do anything against the threat either because who knew what other threats Urata-san had under his sleeves?

Come on, Mafumafu, I thought to myself. I was an oiran, a courtesan of the highest status in the industry, and I was a master of conversations. All I had to do now was divert his attention from them, and put all of them on me before he continued threatening them with things he could possibly make happen. They had done so much for us, I didn't think I could let anyone look down on the both of them.

We only had a short time together, but it was enough for me to know that they were both working really hard for this place. This place was something they cherished and wanted to protect, and I could feel it. This place was what they would call 'a place to go back to' just like how being with Soraru-san was where I belonged.

Soraru-san only stood by Shima-kun's side, not able to cut in since this was Shima-kun's business to handle. But something told me that he was waiting for the right time before taking action.

"Urata-san!" I called out. If that was the case, I could probably stall some time for Soraru-san too.

The room was already quiet to begin with, but the silence was painfully obvious after I cut into the conversation. Everyone's attention was on me. That was good because that was what I wanted. I fumbled through my brain for words, but I couldn't. I opened and closed my mouth like a fool while everyone stared at me.

Soraru-san was looking at me with worry in his eyes. I didn't respond to that because I didn't want to break Urata-san's attention. Suddenly, I heard a roar of laughter coming from him.

I blinked a couple of times at him, confused. I was pretty sure I did nothing funny that could cause him to laugh.

"You there! You're pretty cute, aren't you?" Urata-san smiled charmingly at me after he was done laughing. He crossed his arms above his chest and scanned me from head to toe. "So you're the 'Forbidden Flower' that everyone in the Yamada family has been talking about?"

"Urata-san has heard about Mafuyu?" I smiled back. I sat up on my bed and crawled towards the edge of it, to get closer.

"They call you 'Mafuyu'? That's adorable," Urata-san laughed again. "My men have been crazy about you, and I think it started about three weeks ago,"

"That makes Mafuyu very happy," I said softly.

Soraru-san held onto his fists so hard, that they trembled and his knuckles were turning white. I wished I could go to him, to tell him to relax, to calm down. But it pained me because I couldn't. Urata-san gestured for me to come closer, so I got off the bed and sat next to him. I was still feeling a little fatigued from what happened earlier tonight, but now was not the time to be resting.

He didn't touch me, like how most men would already do, which surprised me a little. It could be because there were a lot of people in this tiny room of mine, and just as this came up in my mind, Urata-san was already telling Shima-kun to dismiss everyone in the room. I looked around me, and Soraru-san was also telling Kashitarou-san and Amatsuki-kun to leave. Urata-san also had his men who were outside, come in to pull his patriarch out of the room too.

Nqrse-kun, who was crouching at the corner, stared at Soraru-san, looking a little lost because he was unsure about leaving us alone. Soraru-san didn't repeat his order for the second time. He only turned away from Nqrse-kun and it was as if he understood what that meant, and he left the room almost immediately.

"Maashi and Senra can stay," Urata-san said. "I still have things we have to talk about,"

"Can't that wait until you're done talking with Mafuyu-kun?" Senra-kun said.

"Senra," Shima-kun warned, and Senra-kun instantly kept his mouth shut. "We'll stay if you let Kanata-san stay too,"

"... Why does he get to stay?" Urata-san asked as he glared at Soraru-san.

"He's my best attendant. He gets to hear what you have to say about us and the quarters," Shima-kun said, not giving Urata-san a choice.

"... Fine," Urata-san gave in after clicking his tongue.

I reached out and tugged lightly at Urata-san's sleeves, gaining his immediate attention. He broke into a smile and paid all his attention to me, starting conversations off with random topics, and we went on for a while with the others watching us, and he didn't seem bothered by it a single bit.

"You could work at a more well-known pleasure quarters, and not in this rundown place," Urata-san commented when we started talking about how I got here. "You could have earned yourself money and status,"

"Mafuyu likes this place really much, Urata-san," I shook my head as I told him otherwise.

"Oh, you do?" he said, sounding surprised. I realised that he was really expressive with his voice, being able to twist and turn his tones with little to no effort, therefore making it really easy for people to know what he was feeling.

"Everyone's really nice to Mafuyu, and it's really comfortable working with them," I explained.

This was not a lie. Shima-kun and Senra-kun had made it really easy for us to work with everyone in a short term of time, which was something not everyone could achieve for newcomers like me and Soraru-san.

"Then I think you'd be more comfortable if you came home with me," Urata-san smiled. "This place is done for, to be honest. That was one of the other reasons why I dropped by tonight,"

"Urata-san!" Shima-kun shouted, and I could hear the sound of him panicking from his voice.

I didn't like the sound of that. It reminded me of all the times a client wanted to buy me off of the quarters back then, and it wasn't exactly pleasant. I grasped onto the fabric of my kimono firmly.

"But you might be able to survive if I bought Mafuyu-chan," Urata-san added. "I didn't expect that you would have someone like him here,"

"This wasn't the deal that we talked about," Shima-kun said through his gritted teeth.

"But it can be. By being the largest holder of 'ice', this much money for your business?" Urata-san said as he showed how little the amount of money was to him with the space in between his thumb and forefinger. "Is really nothing to me,"

"If that's the case-!" Shima-kun started.

"I thought we could sit down over a couple of bottles of sake to talk about the matter, but I changed my mind," Urata-san rested his chin on his palm as he smiled at me. "The deal is that I'll buy Mafuyu-chan off of you, and you'll be able to keep your business and still be funded by me,"

The deal didn't sound all too bad if it was for Shima-kun and Senra-kun's sake. But I couldn't go with Urata-san.

"Don't involve other people in our business, Uratan!" Senra-kun said.

"But Mafuyu-chan's involved in your business, isn't he? Then I don't see the problem in the deal," Urata-san said. There were no signs of him giving up the idea of buying me off Shima-kun. "If you refuse to let go of Mafuyu-chan then this place will be in danger. Is that really okay for the both of you?"

"Urata-san, please let Shima-kun and Senra-kun off the hook," I asked quietly, on behalf of the pleasure quarters.

"A deal is a deal, Mafuyu-chan. You'll learn once you come with me," Urata-san simply said. I could no longer feel any warmth in his voice anymore.

Before I could say anything else, Soraru-san walked over to the other side of the table, across Urata-san, and took a seat. He wasn't seated in the way he usually does when he was in the pleasure quarters. He sat with only one foot underneath him and his other leg was against his chest as he rested his elbow on his knee.

It felt like forever since I saw him like this, and I realised how much I missed the times when we were back at home, together with the rest of Soraru-san's men.

"Hey, shortie,"

Urata-san snapped, and landed his fist on the table. I flinched at the loud noise, no matter how hard I held all my muscles down.

"Like I said, who do you think you are, calling me a shortie?" Urata-san's attention was no longer on me. He directed his anger to Soraru-san, and was visibly trying really hard to control himself. "You've been rather bold earlier too. You said something about your turf?"

"You're messing with the wrong person," Soraru-san said coldly, and that made Urata-san scoff.

"What are you, a yakuza? Because you're definitely talking like one," Urata-san laughed as if Soraru-san just made the funniest joke of the century.

"But I am," Soraru-san leaned forward, slouching a little with his right arm still hanging off of his knee.

"Just who in the world do you think you are? You're just working here as an attendant," Urata-san said as he wiped a tear off the corner of his eyes.

"Soraru of the Ichinose family," Soraru-san simply said as he reached into his sleeves, but immediately took his hand back out.

He was probably looking for his smoking pipe, the ones that were made out of bamboo but we were at work, so he didn't have it with him. I made a mental note to remind myself to have Rib-san get some more tobacco from Cuba because I remembered he ran out of them a couple of days ago.

"... Soraru?" Urata-san called out. This didn't sound too much like a joke to him anymore. "That Soraru?"

"Let's get down to business," Soraru-san ignored how dumbfounded the man sitting in front of him was, even after he was acting all arrogant seconds before he announced his name. "You said you're going to stop funding Shima-san's business, didn't you?"

Urata-san didn't reply. He was a little nervous now. He half-expected to see the 'Forbidden Flower' here, but he definitely didn't expect to see the most powerful person amongst the yakuza heads. Things weren't going according to plan, and he was showing it on his face.

"Since when did you get another yakuza to back the two of you up?!" Urata-san exclaimed at Shima-kun and Senra-kun. He wasn't happy to see that the tables had turned on him.

Soraru-san placed his left hand on the table and tapped on it with his forefinger. The tapping noises were loud enough to snap Urata-san out of his state of trance.

"You broke the deal that was initially made with Shima-san, and made a whole new deal based on your own accord, and now you're saying that you'll buy Mafumafu off of him," Soraru-san tapped his finger on the table again. "Because apparently, as the largest holder of a type of drug that had been spread around my turf, you are financially capable of doing that, was it...?"

Soraru-san lifted his eyes to look at Urata-san.

"Why did you decide to do it here?" Soraru-san asked.

"... I do not have the obligation to explain to you," Urata-san answered, sounding calmer already.

I guessed it was important to not let the other party faze you, no matter their rankings or statuses. I had to give it to Urata-san for his efforts though. Even though it was my first time seeing two yakuza heads sit down across from each other, I knew that there was little to no one who could talk to Soraru-san normally in this situation.

And here he was, talking back at Soraru-san.

"That's fair. I'm going to use your words back at you, but do I need to remind you that this is my turf that you're messing with?" Soraru-san scowled at him in response to his behaviour. And by the looks of Urata-san's body language, Soraru-san came to a conclusion that he understood. "So do you think you have the obligations to explain or not?"

"... It's because there are a lot more people in the area,"

"Didn't you think you'd end up picking the wrong fight with the wrong person?" Soraru-san asked. He readjusted his body posture in his seat before he continued, "As a yakuza head, you have to think everything through before taking action, don't you think?"

"If there were anyone who dared challenge the Yamada family, we would gladly go against them," said Urata-san.

"I'm not so sure about that," Soraru-san said thoughtfully.

Right after Soraru-san said that, someone opened the door to my room.

"Soraru-san, we received news that we have managed to subdue all men in the Yamada household and the ones who were stationed around the area," Kashitarou-san reported.

"What?" Urata-san stood up on one knee quickly, bumping into the table but couldn't care less about the pain when something just happened to his clan in just a matter of hours. He whipped his head around and frowned at Soraru-san. "What did you do?"

"As fellow leaders of a clan, it's important to carry your men with you, like how we carry the tattoos on our backs," Soraru-san said, ignoring Urata-san's question. "Do you not know how crucial it is to make a decision?,"

"You didn't need to go that far! It was just-!"

"This is not just as simple as you think it is, and it's obvious that the people around the area are afraid of you," Soraru-san cut him off as he picked a cup off my tea set.

I got up from my seat to reach for my tea pot, touching the sides of it to see if it was still warm, and thank heavens, it was. Just when I was about to pour some tea into his cup, Urata-san grabbed me by the wrist. I turned my head to look at Urata-san as he pulled me back to him, and I wasn't able to understand why he did that.

"Mafuyu-chan, he's a dangerous man," Urata-san said with his eyes on Soraru-san the entire time.

... He was trying to protect me?

"If you're still planning to buy him, I suggest you forget about it," Soraru-san poured his own tea by himself, and I stared at him apologetically for not being able to help him with that. He glanced at me for a moment before he looked back at Urata-san.

"I don't think you have a say in this since he belongs to the quarters, and not you," Urata-san hissed.

"But again, I do," Soraru-san took a sip from his cup and placed it back down on the table. He reached out for me, and said my name gently. "Mafumafu,"

"I'm sorry, Urata-san," I said as I pulled my hand out of his, and put my hand on Soraru-san's.

He wrapped his fingers around my hand, gripping onto me tightly before pulling me back to his side. All of the muscles in my body instantly relaxed when Soraru-san put his arm around my waist. His scent calmed my senses down, and I wasn't as scared as I was earlier.

I tried my best to not show it on my face when I was talking to Urata-san just now. He was a really unpredictable client, so it only made me fear him even more than I should. It felt as if my life would be over if I made a single slip up and my body had been so tense the whole time because of the fear that was getting to me.

When Soraru-san held me tightly against him, I thought I could melt in his arms at that very instant, and I knew what this feeling was. It was a feeling that I was most familiar with because it happens every time I was with him.

I was falling in love with him all over again.

"You should probably ask the right questions and make sure who Mafumafu actually belonged to. But it doesn't matter if you're the largest holder of that drug you have or if you have lots of money to offer," Soraru-san leaned his cheek on the top of my head and it was a shame that I couldn't see what facial expression he had on his face when he said, "Not only because he's priceless, but he will never be up for sale,"

"... Soraru-san," I lowered my head to hide my face because I was pretty sure that it was flushed and pinched him on the left hand that was resting on my hips. "That's embarrassing..."

I was starting to imagine how he looked when he said that. Was he having this cheeky expression on, one that he would show whenever he thinks he won the argument we would have every morning when we wake up in bed together because he wanted me to sleep in with him? I felt myself blush harder at the thought because that was one of my favourite expressions from him.

Soraru-san flipped his hand over so that he could hold my left hand in his, and intertwined our fingers together as he hid my hand behind our backs. My heart thumped really loudly when he gave my hand a little squeeze.

... I squeezed his hand back.

"I'm going to be frank with you," Soraru-san continued. "Before you came in, I've already bought all of the territories that you had in hand, and that would also include your share on 'ice'. In fact, I have not only yours, but everyone's share in my hands,"

Urata-san stared at him blankly. He probably wasn't sure how to feel when the Yamada family was already done for, in such a short time, nevertheless. Shima-kun and Senra-kun were surprised to hear that Soraru-san easily took down another clan with no effort exerted at all.

This was the true power of the Ichinose family.

"How does it feel being cornered?" Soraru-san asked. His face darkened the moment he added, "Because that was how Mafumafu felt when that patriarch of yours forced him that good-for-nothing drug you have,"

"That's just going too far, Soraru-san," Urata-san said. His palms were clenched into fists. His shoulders were shaking from despair. "The Yamada family was only looking for chances on business deals. I was sure my men didn't hurt anybody at all,"

I couldn't bear the sight of Urata-san being like that. It was true that there probably wasn't the need to go that far.

"Soraru-san..." I lifted my face up to take a good look at Soraru-san.

He lowered his head in response. We didn't say anything to each other, but during those mere seconds, he was able to catch a hint of what I wanted to say. He let out a sigh and took a step back on his words so that I could put in a few myself.

"Urata-san... Did you actually not know about how people have been misusing it for other purposes?" I asked carefully.

"Were there actually people who did that? What were they used for?" Urata-san finally lifted his head and looked over at us. He didn't seem like he was lying with that reaction of his.

"The people around here have been reported to be kidnapped, and some were even victims of terrible things, especially women and kids," said Senra-kun quietly. It was the first time he voiced up ever since Soraru-san stepped in. "I heard from other courtesans that when it was used in high dosage, it causes a lot of pain to the body,"

"It got so out of hand because almost everyone in town had them, and they even had children to do their jobs of spreading it," Shima-kun added.

Urata-san slumped into his seat, looking really defeated.

"... That was never the purpose of it," Urata-san said weakly.

"Can I ask what was the primary reason you invented this?" I looked at him worriedly. He really didn't seem to know anything about this.

"I was told that there are unfortunate kids who were forced to endure pain because of their disease since the doctors couldn't really give the herbs that they usually use since their bodies might not be able to take it," said Urata-san. He retrieved something out of his sleeves, and it was the piece of candy that he offered Shima-kun just now.

"And this is..."

"I made it into the form of candies because I thought it'd be easier for the kids to consume, and kids always looked happy when offered candies, right...?" Urata-san said quietly. "In case there were some kids who couldn't consume it, we have it in liquid form, too. The dosage of it should be all very little. I've tested it out before I introduced it to the doctors. They said that they were seeing improvement in the kids after using it on them too. I swear whatever I'm telling you is true!"

Soraru-san leaned forward, and I placed my right hand on his arm gently. Soraru-san sat back in his seat, not happy at all by the fact that I just stopped him. That shouldn't be an issue right now. I could always cheer him up later.

"That person likes children a lot. When he saw the kids in pain, he was really sad and sorry for all of them. I only wanted to help," Urata-san said. His voice was getting softer and softer.

"Urata-san, I believe in you," I smiled gently at him. When he lifted his face to meet my eyes, I smiled wider. "You were the first one outside of the Ichinose family who tried to protect me from Soraru-san, so I'm sure you're not a bad person,"

Soraru-san reached for my cheek and pulled.

"Hey, what did you mean by that?" he said, sounding displeased.

"I didn't mean anything bad from that!" I said as he pulled my cheek harder.

The atmosphere in the room wasn't as heavy as before. Something had lifted off of everyone's chests the moment Soraru-san got out of that "heated yakuza" mode of his. Kashitarou-san, Amatsuki-kun and Nqrse-kun came back into the room after that.

"Soraru-san's not that scary once he's with Mafu-kun," Kashitarou-san commented.

"I now see why people get incredibly scared under his presence," Shima-kun said monotonously.

"That was a great experience," Senra-kun smiled.

"Right, Senra?! Soraru-aniki's really cool, isn't he?!"

"I don't think he meant it that way, Nqrse..." Amatsuki-kun said calmly.

It was a good thing that we didn't have to resolve with fighting. But now that Soraru-san had all of Urata-san's property in his hands, didn't that mean that Urata-san now had not a place to go back to?

I looked back at Urata-san, and there he was, sitting quietly at where he was.

"I know it's not going to be the same, but Urata-san, why don't you join the Ichinose family as a patriarch?" I proposed.

"Mafu-kun?!" Kashitarou-san exclaimed with confusion in his voice.

They were all wondering why I would even make such a bold proposition, and especially to someone who was the reason why we were all here in the first place.

"It's not like Urata-san was at fault. He's also the victim here since his men weren't loyal to him," I tried to make my stand. "And there isn't any bad person who tries his best to help children,"

"... Mafuyu-chan..." Urata-san said, his eyes teary.

"And since Soraru-san has all of what Urata-san possessed, isn't it fine to return it to him, and have him handle the territories for the Ichinose family? I'm sure we haven't found anyone who could take care of this area full-time, right? The patriarchs have been taking turns taking care of the Ichinose family while Soraru-san was gone, and I thought they were looking rather pale recently,"

"Mafu-kun, working for Soraru-san is our biggest pleasure," Kashitarou-san said as he shook his head, looking kind of troubled.

"That's right, that's right! It's been really tiring for us, to be honest," Nqrse-kun agreed happily to what Kashitarou-san said and then added an opposite statement against Kashitarou-san, which caused him to stare at him intently with disbelief.

"If it's not too much for you, could I ask if you could keep Urata-san in your family, Kanata-san?" asked Shima-kun. He got down to his knees, right next to Urata-san, and lowered his head. "He may have been rude to you, but as his childhood friend, I can assure you that it's just an act he puts on. He can be nice some other times,"

"He might be arrogant, but if you managed to put up with that, you'd realise that he's nothing but a kid wanting attention," Senra-kun grinned. "Mostly because he wanted Sakatan to notice him, but Sakatan must have been too busy recently that he started throwing tantrums,"

"You don't have to go into detail with that!" Urata-san shouted at the both of them and I could see that his cheeks were tinted red.

"I don't think Urata-san is lying, Soraru-san. I dropped by the hospital a week ago, and there indeed were kids who depended on those drugs for their diseases. It was supposed to be for medicinal use, I believe," Amatsuki-kun added.

I leaned into Soraru-san, causing him to fall backwards a little too, but he quickly straightened his back so that he could support my weight on him. I looked up at him, and blinked once, twice and one more time.

"Is that okay, Soraru-san?" I asked softly.

"Do I get to say 'no'?"

I stared up quietly at him.

"Urata-kun, things will be like how it used to, but I'll need you to come over to the Ichinose house for a meeting. We need to go through a few things about you handling your men," Soraru-san broke his gaze away from mine, and spoke to Urata-san. "I'll let you have a couple of my men to support you in the meantime, but I'll be disposing the rest of those traitors because we have no need for them. And put those candies away, we'll deal with that later as well. Are we clear about that?"

"Yes!" Urata-san replied.

"Isn't that great, Urata-san?" I grinned from ear to ear after hearing Soraru-san officially invite him into the family.

"It's all thanks to you, Mafuyu-chan!"

Urata-san tried to grab my hands in his, but Soraru-san pulled me away from him.

"It's Mafumafu-san, shortie," Soraru-san corrected.

"Could you stop calling me that, Soraru?" I could see a vein pop at the side of Urata-san's temple. He dropped the honorifics on Soraru-san's name and was already starting to pick a fight.

"It can't be helped when it's an established fact that you're short, can it?" the corner of Soraru-san's mouth twitched a little as he contained the fire in his head.

I got in between the two of them to stop the fight, and Shima-kun and Senra-kun proceeded to pick Urata-san off the ground (literally) and pulled him away from where Soraru-san was. I let out an exasperated sigh before I glared at Soraru-san.

He sneaked a kiss all of a sudden, catching me off guard, and I slapped him on the chest lightly. People were watching and he was doing things like this to me. He then shook his head, telling me that there wasn't, and he waited. He was wanting another one.

"I deserve a reward, Mafumafu," he said softly, loud enough for me to be the only one to hear it.

"Idiot, not now," I frowned at him.

"You promise you'll give it to me later?" he picked my hand up and pecked it lightly before anyone spotted us.

"... Thank you, Soraru-san," I said, instead of responding to his question.

I was thanking him for everything that he had done today. He did all he could to be the head of the Ichinose family, a friend to Shima-kun and Senra-kun, and a lover to me.

I gave his hand another squeeze. I was afraid that my love for him would overflow if I didn't. I wanted to hug him this very instant, kiss him, and tell him how much I loved him. I hadn't been able to do that for more than a month, and it was starting to overwhelm me once the weight on my chest had lifted.

Soraru-san let a soft smile spread across his face.

"You said it before, didn't you?"

Soraru-san held my hand tightly.

"A part of me, from me to you, right?" he brought my hand up to his lips again, lingering longer than necessary. He then smiled lovingly at me and added, "Anything for you, Mafumafu,"
