February 14th.
The day called Valentine's where people give chocolates to their love ones, some giving obligatory gift chocolate to their friends and of course, that does not exclude Mafu. Except he was the former.
Mafu knew that Soraru was not a fan of festivals, just because festivals are a pain but Mafu loved festivals. Taking twin tail day (February 2nd) as an example, he made Soraru into a twin tail for a day, Imagine Soraru working in front of the computer with those tiny little twin tails. Mafu had no idea how many photos he took of Soraru that day but Soraru was certainly annoyed and holed up in his space for the whole day (no one would want to know what Soraru did to Mafu after that).
Still, it's Valentine's Day, a day for couples (and friends).
"Hey, Amatsuki-kun, what do you think I should do?"
Amatsuki looked up from what he was reading. "What do you mean?"
"Chocolates," Mafu simply said, saying his gratitude when Amatsuki's mother placed a plate of cut apples beside him. Forking one into his mouth, he looked at Amatsuki with his crimson red eyes, slowly tilting his head until he managed to make out the title of the book Amatsuki had in his hands. It was a cook book.
Not just any cook book, but the one written especially for Valentine's.
Mafu smirked at him. "Are you planning to make something for Valentine's?"
Noticing that Mafumafu found out what he was reading, panicking, Amatsuki threw the cook book to the back, there was the sound of the book hitting the floor and Rua barking at it. "N-Not really," he stuttered. "Back to you, so what about chocolates,"
"It's Valentine's,"
"So?"
"So I was thinking if..." Mafu let his sentence trail off, hoping that Amatsuki got the hint.
Amatsuki stared at him, lifting a brow at him. He gestured Mafu to continue with his sentence. "If I could make something for Soraru-san..." Mafu was sure that his face was red as he felt blood rushing to his face. Why did Amatsuki-kun had to be so obtuse?
He said nothing after that but stood up from his seat, walked to the back of his chair and sat back down with the cook book. He flipped through the pages of the book then paused. "But Mafu-kun, you don't really know how to cook,"
"B-But I can make-"
"Pot food and pasta?"
There was nothing more Mafu could add in to that fact. He lowered his head and stared at his fingers.
He heard Amatsuki sigh and looked up at him. "I can help," the moment Mafu heard that sentence, his face instantly brightened up. "But!"
Placing both of his hands on his knees, he nodded at Amatsuki, urging him to go on.
"Don't tell K-Kashi-san about this, okay...?"
Ah, Amatsuki-kun is adorable. Just look at him, blushing because of Kashitarou-san.
Not that Mafu was one to say.
Mafu nodded again and just when Amatsuki was about to say something else, Mafu stopped him by saying, "Please do the same for me to S-Soraru-san..."

"So,"
"Huh?"
"It's Valentine's tomorrow,"
Soraru sighed, taking a sip from his cup of Oolong tea.
"What? Do you really hate it that bad?"
"No, it's just that Mafu gets really hyped up for days like these," he replied, putting down his cup. He ruffled his hair up a little before continuing. "Do you realise how hard is it for me to keep myself from getting on him?"
"You know, surprisingly, I think I can actually understand how you feel,"
It was February 13th and here we have Soraru and Kashitarou at a ramen stall, talking about Valentine's.
"Right?" He let out a sigh again. "Imagine your Amatsuki with his eyes all sparkly, excited to do something special with you on festivals like these," Soraru turned his head to look at Kashitarou who was seated beside him. "It just-"
"Kills,"
Soraru stopped at his sentence. "I wanted to think of a nicer word but I guess you could put it that way,"
"But Amatsuki-kun rarely does those kind of things," he chuckled as he brought his cup to his mouth. "I'm actually envy of you,"
Soraru stretched his body in his seat. "Well I guess it does give me a reason to get him on bed but it's Valentine's,"
"What's so bad about Valentine's?"
"You know I'm not a big fan of sweets,"
"Mhmm,"
"And Valentine's is about chocolates,"
Kashitarou, with his chin rested on his hand, looked at Soraru, his eyes filled with amusement.
"Oh, Soraru-san, you'll never know how great it is to receive chocolate from your partner,"
Because there can be so many things you could do with them with your partner, was the last sentence Kashitarou had to say before changing the topic into something else.

February 14th. For the nth time, it's Valentine's Day.
Today, he was headed to Soraru's place.
It was still cold out, so Mafu wore his muffler and warmer clothing or Soraru was going to get mad at him for walking around in the cold without them. He looked down at the box he held in his hands. He smiled. The box was a light blue and a white ribbon tied around it. In order to not dent the box, he gripped on it loosely, as gently as possible.
The box might look simple but Mafu put a lot of effort into it. He could not remember how many times he messed up when he was making chocolates with Amatsuki that day after shopping for ingredients. Under Amatsuki's guidance, he managed to make a decent one in the end. Mafu put the box back into his bag.
Would Soraru-san like them?
Would he eat them?
Would he compliment me?
Questions already started popping into his head, worry and anxiety showing on his face. His finger was already aiming for Soraru's doorbell but he hesitated in pressing it. Taking a deep breath, he pushed it.
The doorbell rang. The sound of the footsteps could be heard if Mafu strained his ears to listen.
Knowing that Soraru was close to the door, he looked straight ahead until Soraru opened the door for him.
"Soraru-san!" Mafu greeted.
Soraru smiled at him and pulled Mafu in. Soraru-san smiled. I repeat, Soraru-san just smiled on Valentine's Day.
As Mafu fawned over the smile Soraru gave a few seconds ago, Soraru held both of his hands into his and started rubbing them, bringing it to his mouth so he could give Mafu warmth.
"Was it cold outside?"
"It was, but I'm okay now!" Mafu replied. "Because Soraru-san is here," he continued, his eyes looked down as the colour pink tinted his cheeks.
Soraru lowered Mafu's hands and to Mafu's surprise, he felt Soraru's lips on the tip of his nose for a moment. Loosening his grip on Mafu's hands, Soraru then pinched Mafu's nose.
"Come into the living room, the heater is on in there," he said, his back turned to Mafu.
Mafu felt like squealing. His actions may seem girly but he could not help it. Did Soraru not know that today was Valentine's Day?
Ah, he should probably go in. He took off his shoes and placed them neatly beside Soraru's.
He saw Soraru sat on the couch, scrolling down on his phone. Taking off his muffler and coat and placed them on the back of a chair, Mafu walked towards him.
"Mm," Soraru made a sound with his lips, indicating Mafu to sit beside him like how they do most of the time when Mafu comes over.
But Mafu did no such thing.
"What's wrong?" Soraru looked up from his phone.
Mafu reached into his bag and took out the box of chocolate.
"I know you don't like festivals but Happy Valentine's Day!" Mafu grinned as he handed the box to Soraru with both of his hands.
Soraru took the box out of Mafu's hands and examined it. "Chocolate?"
After Soraru received his gift, Mafu finally sat down and cuddled up with him for warmth, his arms circled around Soraru's waist. He nodded at Soraru's question. "I know you don't like sweets so I tried using less sugar in them,"
Soraru placed his hand on Mafu's head out of habit, the other holding Mafu's gift. "So it's bitter?"
"Don't get me wrong, Soraru-san," Mafu said as he tightened his hold on Soraru. "Of course I know that you dislike bitter food but you dislike sweets way more,"
Soraru could not help but agree.
Removing his hand from Mafu's head, Soraru proceeded to opening the box, revealing the content of it. They were shaped chocolates, one shaped like the slime from Dragon Q***t, another like Mafuteru, and a few other heart shapes. He picked the chocolate shaped like a slime up and bit into it.
Mafu, who seemed to notice something, frowned. "Does it taste bad?"
"It's a little too bitter," Soraru decided to be honest.
Mafu picked up a heart shaped one and ate it. Soraru was right. "I'm sorry, Soraru-san. I'll go get a bar of chocolate from the nearby convenience store now," Mafu picked up his muffler and coat. "I'll finish all of these ones later,"
Mafu wanted to take the chocolates away from Soraru when Soraru tried putting another one in his mouth. Soraru grabbed Mafu's arm and stopped him. He bit the chocolate lightly, just so he does not break it, holding it with his teeth, Soraru pushed Mafu down on the couch. "I never said it was bad,"
"So-Soraru-san?" Mafu called out, his voice shaking.
And at that moment when Mafu had his mouth open, Soraru closed in. He slipped the chocolate into Mafu's mouth with his and kissed him. He made Mafu opened his mouth wider by intruding with his tongue, sucking onto Mafu's. Mafu was resisting at first but he gripped on Soraru's sweater after a while, returning Soraru's kiss. Soraru bit and sucked on Mafu's lower lip, making Mafu moan and then shutting him up with his lips again. Mafu leaned his body closer to Soraru's, wanting something more than a kiss. Soraru understood and slipped his hands under Mafu's shirt, caressing his skin.
The chocolate slowly melted away in their kiss.
Soraru broke it off before they got into anything just yet and licked the saliva that trailed down on Mafu's chin during the kiss.
Mafu struggled to catch his breath, his eyes a little teary from just now, his hands still gripping onto the fabric of Soraru's sweater. His shirt was slightly lifted up and revealed his abdomen. His skin was as white as Soraru could remember. All because Mafu never really got out from his house.
"See?" Soraru said, his voice a little husky from what he did to Mafu a moment ago. "The taste of the chocolate just got better,"
"Idiot..." was what Mafu managed to first get out. "How could you even give kisses away so easily...?" Mafu asked, puffing his cheeks, upset at Soraru. Even though it felt REALLY good just now, Mafu still had the right to get mad at Soraru.
"It's not about a kiss that has meaning into it makes it special. It's about who that kiss is given to," Soraru smiled at Mafu and licked the leftover chocolate off at the side of Mafu's lips.
Mafu turned his head to the side, cheeks still puffed up.
"Why are you angry?" How cute can this angel be?
"If... If Soraru-san kisses Mafu one more time then I'll forgive you," he said, closing his eyes as he waited for Soraru.
Soraru chuckled at his demand. "Anything for you,"

S: Good work?
M: That's not it!
