Summary:
Ever heard of love at first sight? Well now you have. Falling for one of the richest criminal leaders in the world can’t be easy? It was eight months ago. He approached you at the most unlikely yet most likely of places. It was a cold spring day and you were sitting in front of your laptop at the local library. It was late and nearing closing time but you were determined to stay in to the last minutes before closing. What you were doing is off topic, but he was there that night.

You looked at the time on your phone, ten minutes left. You decided to finally save and close down whatever you were doing and turn off your laptop, placing it together with your other things in your bag. You pulled on your coat and swung your bag up on to your shoulder and made your way to the exit a level below. Normally when you stayed this late you would be the last one out and had thereby become a familiar face to the librarian. But this evening was different.

As you walked past the multiple shelves towards the stairs a man emerged just a short distance in front of you from between one of the shelves. You didn’t pay a lot of attention to him until the moment when you noticed something fall from him. You quickly rushed to pick it up and ran up to him.

“Excuse me! You dropped this!” You said, and held out the thin booklet you had picked up.

The young man turned around in surprise, not expecting to see someone else at the library this late. He looked at you with wide glowing eyes, making you almost forget how to breathe for a brief second. He was breathtaking to say the least. Tall, blonde and toned, his skin glowing and soft pink lips. The few seconds you stared at each other in silence felt like hours upon hours.

“uh- you dropped this.” You repeated and brought the both of you back to reality.

The man gasped lightly as if he was hit with relief seeing the booklet.

“Thank you! oh my goodness you can’t imagine how much trouble I would have been if I lost this!” He said and grabbed the booklet from you.

“I’m glad I was here to pick it up.” You chuckled.

“Really, thank you.” The man repeated. “I- It’s not often I see someone here this late?”

“I’m a pretty regular visitor.” You smiled and started walking with him towards the stairs.

“How come I haven’t seen you before? Well I’m glad I got to see you today at least.” He chuckled and the two of you made your way down stairs.

“May I ask your name?” He asked as he held up the doors to outside open for you.

“Y/N, you?” You smiled and walked out before him.

“Taehyung.” He responded with a bright smile.

“I’m glad I got to meet you Taehyung, maybe I’ll see you around?” You began as you prepared to tell him good bye.

“I can give you a ride home if you want… it’s raining. It’s the least I can do to thank you.”

Normally you wouldn’t accept rides from strangers but you felt trust in Taehyung and besides that it was indeed raining heavily.

“I think I’ll accept your offer.” You said with a smile.
