Once Sarah took her comforting hand away, I breathed deeply, and buried my emotional weakness. Endorphins infiltrated my game-face and I was ready to be more than just a man. I was ready to represent the Double Dragon and breathe fire if necessary. I locked my gaze onto Albers and projected domineering energy her way.

As I did, a question was heckled from the seventh row. "Albers, any fresh thoughts on the firenadoes in Qinngua Valley-"

"-Excuse us, dear sir!" Tom Darcy screeched. Albers' consultant would often defend his employer with a boisterous manner. "Might I inform you that now is not the time, nor the place for questions-"

However, Albers stroked the Englishman's shoulder with conviction. "-Thank you, Tom. But not necessary," she said. Likely embarrassed, Darcy yielded and slowly sat back with folded arms.

It served him right. His behavior reminded me of Charlie's.

Refocusing on Albers, I caught her answer. "To whomever asked the question, yes, the devastation of Greenland's flora is unfortunate. However, today, my business is strictly Xen Lai, his associates, and whatever it is they'd like to brief us about. That's all," she finished, her tone, devilish. Robin Albers was eloquent and vicious. Xen and I knew she spat a fire of her own, too. Therefore, if we got any chance to suck away her oxygen, we'd have to be quick about it. While I contemplated strategy, the United Nations' holotron began to materialize an important face.

Naturally, it regained the audience's attention. "Good morning to you all," Samir Ahmed started. He was the UN Secretary-General currently serving his second office term. "I sincerely apologize for not being there in person. But, as you are all aware, I am concluding my memorial tour of Tokyo2, for those who perished in the Skytree bombing. Once I have finished my moral duties here, I will join you tomorrow for The Solution World Summit. For now, though," Samir finished, "I would like to introduce the moderator for today's press conference; the Chinese Environment Secretary of The People's Republic; Xen Lai."

Everyone shuffled to attention as Xen walked out to center stage, ready to address the world. When he reached the podium, he didn't speak straight away. Instead, Xen looked off stage, and waved his colleagues on. As they appeared, I recognized every single one of them.
