"This will be helpful. Finally, I can defeat that outdated relic" he said as he picked up the device.
And now he has it. Yeah, that figures.
"Start up the lock down procedures" he told me.
I quickly grab the wheelchairs handles and pushed him to a control panel. He typed up a few numbers on the panel and locked down the entire tower. The Nindroids turned their attention to us.
"Open fire!" Cryptor shouted as he pointed at us.
As they shot lasers at us, my shield began to crack!
"Any other plan?" I asked as he was still pressing buttons on this panel.
"Yes, a smoke screen!" he said with confidence as he pressed one more button.
I don't know if he has a plan for everything, because smoke rose in front of us as the floor under us opened! I screamed while he shouted in delight. We fell into a pipe and slide down into the lowest floor of the tower. We landed on a mattress as Cyrus Borg laughed in excitement. I, on the other hand, was thinking about how crazy that guy is.
"Now, onto phase two of this plan" he said as he turned on the computer.
The monitor displayed some of the rooms in the tower, and to our luck, there were more Nindroids were in the building. They couldn't figure out how to work the device. Knowing my guardian, he made a false safe since the last time someone took over his invention.
"Ok, but we are going to destroy that machine" I said seriously.
"What?" Cyrus asked me in disbelief.
"You heard me. We need to destroy that machine. It is not safe for anyone. If a future enemy got a hold of that machine, it will cause problems for everyone. We are destroying that machine" I stated firmly.
Cyrus was speechless at my statement, but I was not going to change my mind anytime soon.
"Fine, now let's get rid of it" he acquiesced to me.
I nodded in agreement. Now, let's get to work. These pipes will each lead to three different sections of the tower. We just have to time my spells right and defeat the robots. This will not be hard at all. Cyrus saw a bunch of Nindroids on the second floor near the windows. Ok, then a simple wind spell should work.
"On my mark" Cyrus said tensely.
"Got it" I replied as I aimed my wand at the pipe.
As the nindroids stood near the window, Cyrus ordered me to unleash my wind spell. I swiftly cast a powerful gust into the pipes. I looked at the monitors as Cyrus laughed in delight at the site of the Nindroids being blown out of his tower. I let a chuckle out at the site as well. Alright, on to the next one. This pipe leads to the second floor. The second floor has an elevator which could easily trap and destroy the Nindroids.
"Do it!" Cyrus said as he looked at the monitor.
I cast a waterfall spell and made the water rush through the pipe. Water shot out of the pipe and flooded the entire second floor. Maybe that spell was a tad bit strong, but at least Cyrus was laughing and enjoying the show. Now, on the top floor was Cryptor with the machine. Cyrus had a better idea for this one. Since he knew the room so well, he could find an easy way for me to get in. He made me climb the vents. This was one of the most ridiculous things I have ever done.
"Once I tell you are above him, cast one of your spells" Cyrus ordered over the ear piece he gave me.
"But what will you do?" I asked.
"I will get to the machine and shut it down for good" he said calmly in the elevator.
He makes it sound like he has done this before. This has me very concerned, but I was above Cryptor. Well, it is now or never. I was able to squeeze my wand through the cracks in the pipe. I whispered a spell and made lighting crash down around him.
"Ah! I found you!" he shouted as he jumped towards the vent.
Oh shoot, the pipe is falling apart. Cyrus finally arrived and wheeled himself over to the device. I knew Cryptor we were coming and threw one shuriken at Cyrus! Cyrus screamed as he stopped moving. Cryptor gave the vent a good shake to make me fall out! I landed on the ground with a thud as Cryptor towered over me as he pointed his laser at me.
Cyrus sighed as he said "Fine. I'll activate the machine for you. Just do not hurt him"
No, that was not the plan. Cyrus reluctantly typed in a password and activated the device.
As Cryptor took the device, Cyrus advised, "I would be careful with it. It is very fragile and could easily break"
I can take a hint Cyrus. I pushed Cryptor away and grab the device.
"Libra! Smash it!" I shouted as I threw the device into the air.
She jumped out of a portal and took the device in her hands. She twirled forward and threw it to the ground as she vanished in a dark smoke. The device gave off some sparks and smoke. Cryptor let out a yell as he saw the device destroyed. I quickly pointed my wand at him and cast a water spell over him. I short circuited him and saw him collapse on the ground as he spazzed out.
"Wonderful! That was amazing! You are definitely a child I wouldn't mind to guard" Cyrus said with a laugh.
Wait, was this all some kind of test? Was he testing me? Why?
"I just had to make sure you could listen and learn. That's all I want you to do" Cyrus answered as he wheeled away from his damaged robots.
He does have some truth to what he had just said. One of the best ways to succeed is to learn and listen. That is advice I wouldn't mind having in my life every day.
