ok so mini story that goes along with my rant
i wanted to go to the boardwalk with a few of my guy friends and literally my mom got so pissed
she was like "you shouldnt be hanging around with guys all the time you're so boy crazy but i know they're good kids" ((bc like we're in this smart people program thingy and they're all really smart and yeah ok bear with me))
but main point of this rant
why can't i have any guy friends and hang out with them
like literally it's the same as having friends that are girls except the only thing different is the hoo ha and i made it v v clear that they were strictly just my friends
so just because i'm straight i can't hang out with guys because i might ""get involved with them""
well i'll tell you what mOM
THIS IS AMERICA IT'S A FREE COUNTRY AND I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE FRIENDS AND SPEND TIME WITH WHOEVER I WANT NO MATTER WHAT GENDER THEY ARE BECAUSE THEY MAKE ME HAPPY
she also thinks my girl friends' parents dont like me anymore bc i'm apparently a "bad influence on their child because i hang out with guys all the time"
ok first of all your daughter is friends with these guys too and she would hang out with them all day if you'd let her
second of all there is no second of all because i think i made my point
i don't want to hang out with guys because i want to frick frack
i want to hang out with them because i enjoy their company and they are fun to be around
