So we've probably all seen Amandla Stenburg's amazing video Don't Cash Crop My Cornrows (if you haven't I cbf to put it in so go look it up on her tumblr @/amandla) and in it she states that cornrows and locs is a functional way of keeping black hair neat and stylish.
Okay so here's my question now: some white people have frizzy hair (like in the picture above/to the side oh my God he's so beautiful I can't remember his name but he is such a babe) and is it okay for them to wear cornrows/locs to keep their hair contained or whatever? Or even Arabic or Latina or Asian people with that type of hair? Like would it be okay for them to wear cornrows or locs or braids if they really frizzy hair?
Because if a white person with frizzy hair like in the picture gets braids/locs/cornrows to keep their hair neat, is that necessarily a bad thing? Comment what you think x
