hi hi i'm isabella and idk if you've read any of my stories but in two of them ((and more to come)) i kinda kill off characters. it fits the genre that the stories are in so i do it
but some stupid af people will come into the comments and be all like "ugh why are you killing the characters off? i hate you and i'm gonna stop reading this book now." or they'll be like "i s2g you better magically bring the character to life or you'll be my least favorite author ever and i'll stop reading" or or ((there's a lot of different comments i get)) they'll say "you're so stupid why the fuck are you killing characters? it's stupid."
WELL GUESS WHAT? I DON'T FUCKING CARE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT ME KILLING OFF CHARACTERS. IF YOU WANT TO STOP READING BC OF IT, THEN GO AHEAD. JUST GO BITCH ABOUT IT SOMEWHERE ELSE
like seriously it's my choice and i can kill off characters if i want
but this doesn't just apply to killing off characters. more normal stories will have the characters break up or move or get in an argument or something but then the readers will start hating on the author for it and it doesn't make an sense
are you writing the story?? no. so you don't get a say in what the author does. it's the author's choice. they will try to write a story to be the best story they can make it and they will try to write it so it's interesting for readers. no one wants to read a cliche story where there is no drama whatsoever.
so you need to respect the author's damn choices bc they want to make those choices and they have the right to make those choices bc it's their fucking story. writing a story is a lot harder than it seems so getting ridicule over something that adds to the storyline we want ((such as killing characters)) is just mean.
just give author's some damn respect
